OK... forgive my ignorance here... Question: We're planning our first Christmastime trip for the 15th-22nd and think we'll probably do MVMCP. Counting on Disney to release park hours June 1... but if MVMCP tix go on sale in April how should I decide when to go? Do I risk not getting them until June when we have our park days set? What are the chances they'll sell out that week by June? Thanks in advance for any help
I'm wondering the same thing too. I'm going during the first two weeks of December so I doubt the tix for MVMCP will sell out so soon for me, but I sure would hate for that to happen.
Does the party occur the same days of the week every year? At least that would help you know how to plan your schedule a little better .
We're planning a trip in the 2nd week of December, too. Now, can someone explain to me what this is all about? Is it a special show, parade or what? And where's it held (MK, I presume).

It's an after hours event held on select nights at Magic Kingdom in November and December.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
It's an added cost of about $45.
Its held from 7:00p to 12:00a.
Its very festive with a Christmas parade and special Holiday Wishes fireworks, Christmas shows, snow falling down Main Street and they'll be hot chocolate and cookies given out.
The rides will be going and they'll be character meet and greets.
And so much more!
Tickets will go on sale probably the end of April like they did last year.
