MVMCP on November 30th with dinner at LTT at 5:35 P.M. We're ready to go. :bounce:

I just called and asked for PS for LTT and they said they were all booked up. I called right back and got it for for 12-7-04. Woohoo.

Kool I was just able to change my LTT res from 7:10 to 5:15 on Oct 24, yesterday when I tried they said it was sold out.

We are planning on going to the party on 12/10, which is a Friday. I know that Fridays are busier than other nights, but I have not see many postings about anyone else going on the 10th. Is anyone else planning on going the 10th?

I'm planning on the 10th too! Myself, dbf, and his mom, dad and sister. I can't wait. I love closing out my vacations with a night in MK.

What date were you trying to book? I called and was told there are still one or two days they cannot get into the system. One of those days is October 1 - the one I want!

I was having the same problem this weekend getting tickets for 10/28. I was finally able to get them today without any pproblems or time on hold! :Pinkbounc

Got mine (12/17) after calling all day on Saturday. I knew that there was no way that Disney would allow the computers to be down all day. They would lose money.

9:00am Chicago Time, Monday, 5/3 - I just called to get PS for LTT for 12/17 and they said that almost anytime was still available. I got 5:10pm. She said with this res time I won't even have to leave the park I can just go straight to the LTT.

WOO HOO. I am getting so excited. I think I am more excited than my 5 year old.

Ok, I've got to quit reading this board or I'm going to be bankrupt

We'll be there 11/26-12/5 to get one last trip out of our AP's  --yeah, *that* saved us *lots* of money, lol!

I've never been to MVMCP before--can someone tell me why I should spend almost $200 for our family of 6+baby to attend this party? Also why does everyone want to dine at LTT that eve? What am I missing here? I'm not being sarcastic, I truely want to know so I can decide if I want to spend the extra money.

Thanks!

The reason I wanted to dine at the LTT that evening is because it is a character meal. Also, since my res time is 5:10pm I won't have to leave the park.

Also, I only have a family of 3 so the entire evening is only going to cost us $160.00.

I have to qualify all of this by saying I have never been to either (MVMCP or LTT). I am in the same boat as you. These boards are giving me all of these great ideas.

This will be our third time to do LTT and MVMCP. In 2000, there was no early PS ability, and we did Crystal Palace. In 2002 the current system was in place, and we did the first dinner seating at LTT (5:40). Now it seems they have added more times for this, so our 12/16 time is 5:05.

In 2000 the idea was that is you had MVMCP tickets and were in a restaurant, they would allow you to stay at the place until party time, and you would already be in the park, and be able to experience the back of the park before the crowds coming from Main Street would appear. We had Fantasyland practically to ourselves that year for about a hlf an hour. Only us and one other family on Dumbo, the Carousel, Pooh, and Pan. We rode these multiple times without waiting, even as more folks appeared. We also did our free picture in Fantasyland with no one else around. (In 2000 it was at the Legend of the Lion King, which wasn't running that night.)

In 2002 once we finished at LTT we were allowed to walk past the castle (deserted -- not a soul around -- great pictures) to Tomorrowland where other guests already in the park were waiting for the party start time. We entered Fantasyland through Tomorrowland and enjoyed a similar isloated feel, although there were more folks with us right from the get-go. With the ability to stay in the park without eating, some people will choose to just get their wristband and ride Space Mountain 10 times in a row. We have too much fun at the character dinner at LTT, sitting and getting charged up for the big night, to give it up.

The party itself can get crowded if you try to do the first parade, or get in the Main Street throng entering the park. If you plan it right, starting at the back of the park, and doing the photo first thing, you can enjoy a lot of rides with very little wait and take in the second parade without a long pavement holding session. We love the free photo souvenir, even though it is cheesy, and getting to see the Christmas parade at night with the snow machines churning out fake flakes. We love being at the park until midnight, since in the winter it is never open that late. We love it all!

The 'main' reason you see so much 'talk' of LTT is that it is the ONLY restaurant at MK that you can book right now when you order your tickets!

It happens every year! Everyone books it and it's all full within a month because it's the only one available when the tickets go on sale. But there are many though that might cancel their LTT PS when the 90 days comes up and they've decided they really wanted to eat at Crystal Palace or the Castle or Tonys!

The other restaurants will open up at 90 days.
