Due to some financial issues I won't be able to buy our MVMCP tickets until the first of July. The night we really want to attend is the last night, December 17. Do you think tickets for that night will be still be available by July? We could rearrange our schedule and go the next to last night which is Dec. 16, but those are our only two options. Just wondering what you think.

Unless this year is really different from all of the previous years, you will not have a problem.

Friday nights do sell out more quickly than the other nights, but I have never heard of that happening in July. The first notice of a sellout (when it has happened) hasn't appeared on the DIS until sometime in November. FWIW, I've been going to MCMVP since 1998 and have been following posts on MVMCP every year since then.

You should not have a problem getting tickets in July - no matter which night you plan to go.

Best wishes -

The last night of MVMCP most times will be sold out event but I think a bunch of tickets will be left in July.I think you may be better served by going to MVMCP on 16th though.Crowds will be less and you will have better chance to encounter smaller ques.Either night will be a great evening for you and family,MVMCP is awesome in our opinion. We're going twice this year 12/7/ and 12/9.::yes:: :wave2:

Thanks, you have made me feel much better! We went to MVMCP the next to last night in 2002 and it was wonderful. We will probably have to stay with the last night due to school and us not having to miss days. At any rate, MVMCP is terrific and we can't wait to go!

Dude, you do not, repeat do not, want to go to MVMCP on the last night. It was wall to wall people last year. We were not able to get much of anything done. The last night of MVMCP is almost, if not always, a sell out. The locals are out in full force that night.

We were so spoiled by the MVMCP that we had done on the Sunday night that we arrived. We got to do so much. It was just the most wonderful night time and holiday experience at MK. I can't tell you just how special it was. We knew it was an awesome night, but the contrast between that night and the sold out last night experience was just worlds apart.

I beg of you to reconsider your potential choice of MVMCP dates. Maggie

I know. It's just that we will have to take an extra day off school and that isn't so much a problem for my girls, but for me. My county isn't too keen on taking days off right before a holiday. If I don't advertise it too much I guess I could just use two sick days.

I'd be sick. People do it all the time ( - but not me;) )

The crowd level can make all the difference between an enjoyable time and miserable. Tempers will hold off longer, etc.

We just returned from - what we considered to be - a really crowded park. My DD16, who is spoiled to low attendance in early Dec - said it just wasn't fun. There were way too many people.

I've pulled the kids out of school the Thurs & Friday before a week long holiday (and left Wed night). Those first few days made all the difference for us. We literally watched the crowds arrive!

Have fun - and take deep breathes!
