MVMCP ticket question

I know this is a stupid question (Sorry, we've never been before!), but if you buy the ticket for MVMCP, does it allow entry to the MK for the entire day, or just from 7 pm to midnight?

They will let you in at 4:00 or later. When they close the park they "herd" all the party people into one area of the park, usually either Tomorrowland or Frontierland. Or you can get an ADR and spend that hour in a restaurant.

So we can't get in until about 4pm? Or, if we do go in the morning, it counts as one day off of our base ticket, then we turn in our MVMCP ticket at 4pm? Still kind of lost here.

That's right, to go in before 4 you would have to use a separate ticket.

But some people do this and then get their party braclet at or just before 6 when the park is closing to everyone else. They usually have CMs around to give out the bracelets so you don't have to go all the way back to the gate.

What we like to do is spend the morning of the party at DTD, visiting resorts to see decorations, or just hanging out at our resort. Then we go in MK at 4 and don't have to use a day off our tickets.

FYI...Getting in after 4:00p is unofficial and not an absolute guarantee. It will probably happen again this year but it's not a guarantee.

If you ask a CM over the phone, they will say 7:00p.

Beattyfamily is right there is no guarantee of early entry but it would be pretty hard for them if they waited until 7 to allow in the thousands of people who have tickets... most of the party would be over before everyone was inside. I suppose they could hold people inside the gate but they haven't done that before.

Yeah, I know. Before they started letting people in at 4:00p, the park was completely closed down for 2 hours and they let no one in till 8:00p (it used to be 8p to 1a) Somehow they accomplished it. The only people in the park back then were those eating in restaurants.

I'm still wondering why Disney has MVMCP night's hours as closing at 7:00p. It's probably a mistake but we'll see when December hours come out.
