MVMCP ticket cap?

Anyone know how many tickets they sell for each might of MVMCP? I read another post suggesting that a Friday party would be busier than a weekday night. Don't they sell the same amount of tickets for each night?

Maybe the other poster felt that a weekday night would not sell out?

I remember reading somewhere that there is a limit of 20,000 people in the park during MVMCP. Now, I have no idea how that compares to regular attendance. Anyone??

This will be our first year going. I also had heard that weeknights may be slower than weekends as well as hearing that 20,000 number. We will be there the first week in Dec. and I actually found it easier setting up ADR's for LTT on Dec. 8th before MVMCP than I did setting it for another day earlier in the week so that's when we'll be there. I also saw that Mousefest will be attending the party on 12/7 plus I am not sure if the Pop Warner people will be going to MVMCP or not?! I would imagine on a Sat. it would be busier because the locals would be more apt to visit then.

P.S. Maybe I'll see you at Pop as we will be there too!

Yes, that 20,000 number has been circulating for years, and now this year I've read 30,000 twice now (someone asked a CM at the MNSSHP) but either way, I think only Disney really knows the true number.

Anyway, the reason a Friday can be more crowded than a weekday is because they draw the locals and sell out more than weeknights.

If a night sells out and has 30,000 and a weeknight doesn't sell out and has 15,000 or 20,000 then it stands to reason it will be less crowded than Friday.

Thanks for the responses. Do you know how 30,000 compares to a regular day at MK. For example a day where there is lots of fastpass use and long lines?

Not sure as it really depends on the day; peak season or off season EMH day etc....but Magic Kingdom's capacity is about 80,000.

And remember, not all nights sell out either so it certainly could be less than 30,000. Usually, the last couple of parties and some Fridays are the ones that may sell out.
