MVMCP Solo?

Solo trip to see all the Christmas decorations Dec 9 - 13. Haven't gone to MVMCP in at least 10 years and am planning on going one night. Most of my trips to WDW are solo and I LOVE it. No problem eating at the Signature restaurants as the servers are always willing to cut for a few minutes. Often they initiate the conversation.

Going solo November 29 to December 8 and going to MVMCP on December 5. I've been solo to the World twice (and in regards to your resort question, I've stayed off site solo with no problems at all), and love it. I do what I want, when I want, and don't have to worry about doing something that the rest of my group may not want to do.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who has commented here about going solo to the MVMCP. My husband has to leave disney a day early, and I wasn't sure what I was going to do by myself. I'll be purchasing a ticket to the MVMCP for November 22nd.

Our trip really didn't allow us to fit in the party, and I've been a bit down about it. Not anymore!!!

I'm so excited and can not wait to see the parade and the fireworks show. AAHH!! :woohoo: So Excited!!!!!

Next week will be my 3th solo trip at Disney World. I always feel safe going back to my hotel room (disney property) even its almost midnight. And I like the flexibility of doing whatever you want and anywhere in the parks.

Going solo dec 3rd until the 18th. This will be my 4th solo trip to Florida, third one to Disney and first one with christmas decorations out :cool1: I will be at 3 (!!!) MVMCP's.
I have been travelling all over the US, most trips solo...stayed at all kinds of differents hotels (most were pretty cheap but none in any unsafe locations/parts of town). I never ever felt unsafe anywhere in Orlando...as long as I stayed in the more "touristy" areas around Universal, Searworld or Disney I didn't mind getting back to my room late and walking in the dark alone.
On Disney property I felt safer than ever before...parks, busses, hotels (value)...never had any kind of "scary" experience even though I stayed out really late every night.
I just looooooooooove my solo trips and would encourage anyone to just give it a try. Beeing a bit selfish and just doing what you want, when you want it is awesome. Even though I travel alone I never feel lonely since I always find someone to chat with while waiting ins lines or waiting for parades/fireworks.

I love my solo trips to the World! I have a blast, meet lots of people, and just immerse myself in the magic. I invite people and they never want to go so that does not stop me from going to my happy place! A couple more weeks and I will be there again! Woohoo!

I usually meet up with my mom and sister for WDW trips, but I really treasure times I can just go by myself and focus on the things that I want to do and have energy for and not have to worry about overtaxing someone. I've never felt either weird or unsafe as a solo female on Disney trips (World or Land).

I agree; also a solo female and I find WDW is the best place to be. Always find someone to strike up a conversation with, if I want, and if I want quiet time to myself can do that too.
Definitely stay on property. They take safety as seriously as making sure all guests have fun.

We all should have made shirts that say "solo disboard'er" so we could find each other lol

I won't have a special shirt but if you see a solo guy wearing a 1st trip pin, a birthday pin, a grin from ear to ear, and bouncing around like a 5 year old that's probably me.

That's assuming today ever ends, I can't believe it's not even noon yet, GO FASTER CLOCK!

Awe that's awesome! I finally packed tonight, getting up there late tomorrow but I'm so excited to even be going that I don't care.

Have a great time :)
