MVMCP SoldOut?

How likely is it that MVMCP will be sold out? How far in advance should I buy tickets to avoid this happening?
I'm planning a trip 12/5 - 12/11 but I can't book it until mid summer.
Any suggestions?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Last Nov I was able to buy them for mid-Dec parties. There are way many other things to worry about!! Some of us just get carried away with the whole planning thing

This question has been asked before, and if I remember correctly, the answer was that you'll more than likely still be able to get tickets! We're going to the MVMCP on 12/7, and I've already got my tickets in hand. I just COULDN'T wait! LOL

Usually only the Friday night parties sold out. You'll be fine waiting until mid-summer.

I was there from Dec 5 - Dec 11 last year and bought a ticket just one day in advance (though not for a Friday night).

As long as the MVMCP you want to attend is not on a Friday.You can get your tix after you arrive at WDW.Have bought our tix for 12/7 and 12/9 MVMCP'S just couldn't wait.

We attended the MVMCP on Friday 12/5 of last year (2003). We bought our tickets one week before going. We did find out that they did sell out that night, sometime during the week. You will be OK waiting till a little closer to your trip. Just remember they will sell out most of the weekends.

The last 3 years I waited until I got there to buy our tickets for Sunday or Tuesday night, early in the month. Nowhere near soldout.

I was at the parks for the Very Merry Party for several nights in 2001 and it was WAY crowded. Later found out they OVERSOLD tickets that year.
