Hello everyone, we will be attending mvmcp on 12-07-04, I know that they tend to let eary arrrivals in some time after 4:OO. I plan on getting there early, my question is do they completly empty the park and than re-open it. or do they keep it open and check if you are wearing a wrist band? I plan on having dinner inside the park at 5;00, are all the restraunts open? or just a select few. Finally what is the procedure for having your family photo taken(what is the best location for this)?......thanks so much..

You will get a wrist band, without it you will not be able to do any attractions. Most resturants will be open at 5:00,after MVMCP starts only a few.At 7:00 when MVMCP starts, several photo stations wi8ll open up.You will need to que up at one, while in que you will fill out card with your address so they can send you photo. At this time you will also get your free MVMCP button. My advice get your photo early and it will only take a few minutes,if you wait to do it later in evening it can take 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.:wave2: Hey I just remembered we are goint to 12/7 MVMCP and the one on 12/9 also.::yes:: :goodvibes

They keep it open and check if you have a wristband. Last year all the rides in Tomorrowland were open between 6:00 & 7:00 for those with wristbands, not sure about the rest of the park. I think they had a photo station open in Tomorrowland early too. We've arrived around 4:00-4:30 the past 2 years, it's a great jump on the party. Most of the rides have low lines then.

I'm assuming they do the same thing for MVMCP as they do for MNSSHP. We're doing the MVMCP for the first time this year!!

What they did last year is once you get your wristband they keep you in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and clear the rest of the park out. Honestly I don't know how this is technically done, since I thought people without would just hang out in those lands too, but they don't and they tend to leave with this dumbfounded look on their face, like why do they get to stay? LOL

Then between 6pm and 7pm they have a speed crew that decorates, pretty amazing to go from a reg. MK to a magical holiday one. I was in shock! I can't wait to see the Christmas one.

As far as restaurants all the normal CS places were open, but I would think you would be confined to TL and FL until after 7pm, but we love Cosmic Rays, so that isn't a problem for us.

We did pics after 11pm when most of the crowds had cleared out. They were really hopping between 7 and 10, so I'd either que up right away or wait until later. They have these spots pretty well marked and we did ours over near the HM and we were one of a few families there.

Have a great time! You will LOVE it!!!!!
