MVMCP Portraits....worth the wait?

We are going to the MVMCP at the end of November and I keep reading that the lines for the party photos are really long.

What is different about these photos from the ones that you can have taken by a CM on regular admission days???

Anyone have any that they can share from previous years???

In the past they ahd the free photo that had a holiday background and had a MVMCP pborder w/ the date printed on it. That line could get very long. however, since they did away w/ the free photo at MNSSHP, I'd be willing to bet that there will be no free photo at MVMCP this year, so your question might be moot (or moo if you're a Friends fan ).

They did have a 50% offf Photopass at the MNSSHP w/ some special spots you can't get regularly, so they'll probably ahve that at MVMCP, too.

Unfortunately, I'm not even sure that they are doing tht souvenir photos this year. Some websites say yes while others say no. I've asked on the disboards before and some responses were that people got a letter from disney saying the picture is available and others got letters that didn't say anythnig. My letter didn't say anything about the free photos this year. I hope its still included considering the price of the ticket went up since last year. I guess we won't know for sure until the first mvmcp party begins.

I agree, since they did not have them at MNSSHP this year, I doubt they will offer them at the Christmas party too. I didn't know that the photo was gone and we kept looking for the locations....duh! Didn't know about the photopass discount...??

The photo background was always a joke. Green butcher paper with walmart decorations tacked on.

There was the little disney stamp at the bottom of with a logo and the MCMVP date. Lighting was not good, white balance one year made all our faces nearly orange.

All in all, even when they had it last time we were there, we skipped it. I don't think you're missing much.

Believe me, if they are still doing it, don't waste your time. It is just a simple instant photo quality.

No special props? Christmas theming? Nada?

I don't even really care if it's free or not....I was just thinking that it would be cool to get a family pic with with holiday/MVMCP stuff in the pic.
