Do they release trading pins for MVMCP like they do for MNSSHP?

Yes, they have a new one released at every party, and you can buy the previous nights pins if they are still available.

Last year they held all the pins that were left overs until the last night of MVMCP. They sold them at the same station at Exposition Hall that they sold the framed sets. They limited the purchases to only two pins of each type from each party per person. We picked up several extras that night. They all made great traders. Maggie

So you have to wait til the last night to get pins from previous parties?

We could only get pins from the party that we were attending. I think they change this procedure each year.

I'm sure if all the pins did not sell out, this year they would make them available. It all comes down to $$$.

Last year we went to MVMCP on 12/14 and 12/19, which was the last night. I was told on 12/14 that the MVMCP pins available that night would only be the ones for 12/14. The other MVMCP pins would be sold during the 12/19 MVMCP if there were any leftovers. On 12/19, we picked up our MVMCP pins at the usual location and later into the evening found that the pins from many of the other MVMCP's were indeed being laid out for sale at a counter inside Exposition Hall where they were selling the framed sets. On 12/19, they were limiting the sale of the pins to 2 pins/person/design. On 12/20, we were back at MK and they had the some of the leftover pins from many the MVMCP's for sale on the racks at Exposition Hall and they were limiting the sale still to pins/person/design. How much do these pins usually cost?

I believe the ones that I purchased last year were between $8.50 to $10.50 each depending on the amount of detail. I have not yet seen any information on what the pins for the MVMCP's for 2004 will look like, but if you want to see the pins from 2003 check out the links below. Maggie

Why, those are beautiful!! We've never collected any pins on our previous trips...it might be something interesting to start (on a small scale!)
