I have tickets to MVMCP but no magic bands. I bought tickets and printed them out myself. The ticket says that piece of paper is my ticket. Obviously there is no RFID on the paper.

I was able to book FP+ with this ticket.

How do I use FP+ with a paper MVMCP ticket?

Thanks.

Before you enter MK, take your printed ticket to any ticket booth or Guest Relations and trade it in for a new plastic RFID party ticket.

It was also mentioned that you can trade the paper ticket at the "party gate" for a RFID ticket. Is that true or do I need to plan to stop at the ticket booth at the TTC???

At the party entrances there will be 4 (sometimes as many as 6) "lanes" ("normally" the first 4 to the right of center) with an entrance CM that has an iPad with bar code scanner. They will scan the bar code on the paper ticket for validation of entry. You will not get, or need, a hard (plastic)ticket. You can go to Guest Relations ticketing booth if you just want a hard ticket but not necessary.

Are you saying they can use their paper ticket at the FP entry points as well? That was the question.

A plastic RFID ticket is needed to access the FP+ readers (in the absence of a MagicBand.)

Yes... Done it friday. Bring your paper ticket to the party entrance they will scan it. Tell them you need a rfid card for your fast passes. They will direct you to another cast member who will get you a card without waiting in guest relations line. At least that's what our experience was. Have a great time : )
