MVMCP merchandise already selling out

Would you say that the ornaments are selling out also?

I will say they were going fast but they still had plenty and I didn't get mine until 11:30-12:00 at night... I do think the one pin that has all the characters I couldn't get.. But that was the only one

Trust me, I get the frustration about party merchandise disappearing in the first few weeks. I was shut out of the party pins for MNSSHP last year on my Disneymoon. Luckily, I have a friend at Disney now, so she's buying a party pin for me since I wasn't convinced they would hold out until I'm at the party on Dec. 9. I don't understand why Disney can't have a better system for party- and event-exclusive merchandise. Why not let us pre-order and pick up at our party?

That would be too easy I guess, you know how that goes. Honestly I have never NOT been able to get a party pin at the MNSSHPs. I've run into a few let's say "not quite in the know" CMs when it comes to shirts. Usually with a gentle reminder they will go look in the back and what do you know they find what you want.

The Emporium is the biggest hassle for the pins, always head right to Frontierland year after year with success. Now those pesky AP pins, that's a whole different frustration for me.

I have definitely felt the pain of sold out pins. Missed out at both MNSSHP and MVMCP last year because I went to late season parties. That's why I went to earlier parties this year. I was at MVMCP last night and they seemed to have good stock of all the pins in Frontierland. Still, some of the pins are limited edition, so there only so many to go around.

I thought they had a certain amount of merchandise for each party. So you would have the same chance for party 1 as you would for the last party.

I don't know where but I read similar from a source that I remember trusting, it put my mind at ease at the time, this was last month. It may even have been on here.

Just saw it was reported the party ornament is already sold out for the year and is going for $40-$100 on the secondary market. I'm assuming the pin will be next. I may have missed the post, does anyone have a link to a site that shows all the merch? I would like to try to acquire some before it sells out and starts going for insane prices on the secondary market, and am worried it will be gone by our party on the 12th.

I went to the party last night and the Olaf passholder pin on was already sold out.

I've been twice at Christmas and had no problem getting merchandise. Somebody may be misinformed.

AP pins, not exclusive to parties. This is common, especially with a new or hard to find character. Don't you know by now I wouldn't lie to you Buzz...trust me

The pin I was referring to is the AP pin that IS exclusive to the MVMCP.

I meant that AP pins, in general: not only exclusive to parties, tend to sell out quickly. I stated it incorrectly.
