MVMCP LTT or Fantasmic dinner package

We will be going 12/17-23. I'm guessing that the last day of MVMCP will be 12/17. Budget can cover either a PS at LTT for MVMCP or dinner package for Fantasmic. My question: How good are my chances of getting into Fantasmic without the dinner during this time?

I had no problem getting into Fantasmic at that time. It is a HUGE sitting area.... let me repeat... HUGE! And I think very few people get turned away. I was a little disappointed at the seating arrangements for the packages too. Now maybe it's changed since I did it a couple years ago, but the people going thru the package didn't have much better seats than myself and I walked in at the last minute. Now the CP at EPCOT I found to be different. I would get the pkg there to ensure a seat rather than standing in line. But Fantasmic, because it is so large, didn't seem to be a problem esp. if you get there 20 min or 1/2 hour early. I would go w/ LTT and MVMCP.
