MVMCP LTT @ 5:05: Need hopper tixs?

OK, nothing like obessive plannning WAAYY in advance!

We've got MVMCP tix for Dec. 16th and LTT PSs @ 5:05. In past years we have been able to go into the park with our party tickets before the 6:00 closing time and not use a day on our hoppers, but we weren't there last year nor were our PSs as early as they are this year.

So I'm wondering if we get there at 4:45 to get to our early dinner (on the day of our arrival) do you think we will be allowed into the park on just the party tickets, or will we have to use our hoppers? If so, we'll just bite the bullet and get APs, since we're already right on the bubble (8 days counting this arrival party day).

Someone called CRO and they said the procedure will be the same as last year, you can get in with just your MVMCP tickets after 4:00pm. Also see a thread called "confused?", a cm answered the question regarding MNSSHP.

Last year we were allowed into the park after 4pm with just our MVMCP tickets. They give you a wristband to show that you are a party guest.

If you need additional reassurance, wait to buy the APs until after the first MNSSHP event. Someone will post back here afterwards that they got in after 4 pm with just the party ticket. (I'm sure this will be the case this year because security procedures are still in place. It would be a logistical nightmare to try to get all those people through security in a timely manner if no one could get in before 7 pm).

For as long as I have been attending MVMCP (since 1998), procedures have been the same as that year's MNSSHP.

I assume you are talking about LTT. LTT is the only "sit down" restaurant that will be open during the party. If you bought MVMCP tickets, you could make a PS for LTT even though it was not yet 90 days from the party.

You could try calling now - you'll have to tell the CM that you have party tickets and see what PS times might still be available for your date. (I would expect that most times between dinner start and 6:15 or so would already be booked, though). If there isn't anything workable, don't worry. You can still call at 90 days. In the past, additional times have been released for LTT at that time.

Also, you could still call for CP, Tony's or CRT at 90 days. The last PS time available for those places will probably be 5:50 pm. Since you probably want to eat before the party really starts anyway, those will work out just fine.

I got it...4:30 PS at LTT for December 7th...Can't wait. Thanks to all of you helpful people here, I called right away and got it today.

I hope we can get in with just party tickets as we are AP holder but our friend will only have hoppers and we plan on a day at a water park that day...

I'm so HAPPY!!!!

Yes you can, for Both MNSSHP and MVMCP you will be able to get in as early as 4pm with JUST the event ticket...no day pass needed after 4pm Have fun!
