MVMCP-How early can you enter?

I know I have read that some people have gone into MVMCP as early as 4 pm even though the website says it starts at 7 pm. You do not need a park hopper ticket if you do that do you? You only need the special ticket correct? Do you have to have PS ressies to go in that early? What can you do that early? Do they rope you off to a certain area? Can you get your picture done before 7 pm? Do you have to walk to the front so you are not missing out on the opening festivites? Thanks all.

We did MVMCP last Dec. You'll love it. We did have ps's at LTT for 5:45. We were already in the park. But, my understanding is that you are allowed in early, with your party ticket. You turn them in for a wrist band, if I remember correctly. If you aren't eating someplace, you are herded (for lack of a better word) over to TomorrowLand. I believe you can do the attractions there. This takes place as they close down the park. Then, those without entry for the party have to leave.

As far as the photo goes, we were lucky enough to be just leaving LTT at 6:45 and the photo place was already up and running...no wait for us!!

The event ticket is your admission. If you were planning on going to a park that day, you can hop over and get your wristbands any time after 4 from the CM in front of the castle

You only need the special ticket correct?
Admission to everything after 7 requires a wristband which is given with the special ticket. This is your admission for the day

Not sure on this one

We were in the park all day, but you could do anything you really wanted to.

Do they rope you off to a certain area?
Never saw any ropes, although everyone did head to Tomorrowland to see the 7 PM showing of Night before Christmas

Can you get your picture done before 7 pm?
No - best time to get it done is during the first parade. Everyone is watching that so you can do that with no line then.

Do you have to walk to the front so you are not missing out on the opening festivites?
Don't remember any actual opening. We only went to the front to get the buttons that they handed out.

We enetred MK at 4:05 last Dec. with only our MVMCP ticket.

We went to MVMCP last year. I was also worried about entry time. We arrived at MK at 4:00 and we didn't have a PS. They let us in with just our MVMCP tickets without even questioning us. In fact they directed everyone going to the party to go to the right side and gave us our wristbands- then we went right in! It was a great time to go because we were able to ride a lot of the rides in Fantasyland before the party even started! We even went to a Christmas show at 6:15 in Tomorrowland. Have a great time!

We got in both nights that we did this last year at 4pm. We didn't have a PS set up either night. Maggie

Just got off the phone with CRO and the tickets will be going on sale early May and here are the confirmed dates:

November 28, 30
December 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 17.

Thank you! Can start planning now! I want to order some before we go, can you do that via the internet or does it have to be on the phone? If we want to do a second night when we get there and there are tickets left, can you buy them at the resort?
How quicly does it usually sell out? Will be there between Dec 9th and 17th

They don't start selling out until about November, so there's no rush when they go on sale. The last Friday night sells out first, then the other Friday nights. I don't think any other nights sold out last year. We went on a Tuesday night (Dec 9 I think) and it wasn't crowded, I got tickets the day before at the resort. You get the advance price as long as it is before the date of the party. If you do want to buy them now, keep in mind they are non-refundable.

I know they just came out with the dates for this years MVMCP, but I was wondering if anyone has a schedule for the times of things that are going on from last year. For example, what time the parades are, the fireworks and the different shows. If so, could you possible post them. I know when we did the Halloween Party this past year they passed out a schule of activities.
