and I was less than impressed with CRT last year - it was maybe the least favorite TS meal we had. Tables are packed in the restaurant, so very little space - especially when the princesses visit. Food was fine, but nothing special or great (note that we did breakfast though - possible this is different for dinner??).
I've read on here that Akershus is better for princess interaction (and if on DDP it is only 1 TS v 2) so replacing it could help with your budget issues?
Not sure on comparability of HDD to MBBBQ, but we did the BBQ last year and it was one of the best times we had on the trip - character interaction, dancing, food was good, unlimited ice cream bars for kids, beer for parents included. IF HDD is anything like MBBBQ, I'd keep that one.
I would definatly keep MVMCP. I think I would cut HDDR since you do have girls, and I love eating in the castle. That would be a tough call for me though.
I haven't actually done any of these things yet, but I'd cut HDD, too. I also agree with the PP who mentioned maybe cutting CRT in favor of the Askerhaus princess breakfast in Norway.
I was going to say that whatever you do, don't cut HDDR! I guess I'm outnumbered here. My dd(4) loves this place!! It's our favorite meal of the whole trip! The food is great, the entertainment is great. We just love it!!
I would say HDDR. Now I LOVE that show and so does my family. But you can get into it anytime. CRT is harder to get, so if you get an ADR there, I would keep it. MVMCP is only during a certain time of year, and if you don't go back at that time again, then you won't be able to do it. But HDDR is all year long, 3 shows a day and from my experience, you can get into it pretty easily. So you can always have that as a top thing to do next trip.
Okay, right now I am going to plan to cut HDD. Thanks everyone. I am going to plan on going to MVMCP, but per some web advice, will wait until the week of the show to get tickets in case the weather is going to be bad.
