MVMCP - First time going. Details please

This will be our first time going to Disney over XMas and I am soooo excited. Can someone explain the MVMCP and other Xmas events at the parks? DETAILS PLEASE!!! I don't want to miss anything!!

We were there just this past December for MVMCP for the first time - we all loved it! DD loved the special shows around the MK, the "free" hot cocoa, the dance parties with the characters, and the special parade - oh, I almost forgot the "snow" falling on Main Street! We really had a terrific time and I'd love to do it again some day!
