MVMCP - First party night sell out?

We plan to attend the first MVMCP on November 7th, is it urgent that I purchase the tickets now? Does it sell out that early in the season?

I would normally say you can wait, but I know a lot of media go to the first party to cover it. However, I don't know if in reality the media only takes up a small percentage of availability or not.

The last 2 or 3 years, all of the Christmas parties prior to Thanksgiving have been fairly early sellouts.

Even when the Halloween party on Halloween itself (which always sells out) didn't sell out until Oct 4 last year?

The first party does always sell out but not quickly. You have some time to buy them before they go. We went to the first party last year and we bought our tickets the day they became available but only because of the excitement of getting them. The other family we went with waited and purchased theirs with no problems a few months later with no problems. I think they sell out closer to Fall.

We are going on the 7th too and I went ahead and ordered our tickets.

Mmm, I don't want to take any chances so I will let everyone in the group know we better go ahead and just purchase them. It's the only party during our trip and everyone really wants to go, better to purchase early and be safe. Thank you.

Thanks to all the posters for the info. I'm going from Nov. 15-21 and was so psyched to do the MVMCP for the first time. I am planning on purchasing tickets this week!
