MVMCP - Fireworks!

Hi All !

I have been to MVMCP many times and each time I try and find 'the perfect spot' to watch the fireworks.

The fireworks on these selected party nights are about the best I have ever seen!

Lest I try yet again by trial & error to find a great spot, does anyone have any suggestions on where I might try this year?

I want to know too...Maybe DIS meets could be set up to view fireworks?!?! At least there would be someone there to ntalk to while waiting for them to start...

Make sure you can see the front, right side (Tomorrowland side) of the castle. Tinkerbell does not fly on MVMCP nights...there's a special "guest flier" instead. I don't want to spoil the surprise but believe me that it's worth it.

There is also a special "guest flier" (although a different one) on MNSSHP nights.

When I read the description about MVMCP on the disney world site, it said they would be showing Wishes. Do you think they will do this instead of the fireworks they usually have at the MVMCP? I have never been to the party and am looking forward to the fireworks since they sound so great. For those who have seen them are they similar to what the new Wishes are suppose to be like? It seems a shame to have the same fireworks during regular hours as at the party. If anyone knows about this please let me know!

We've gone to MVMCP the past 5 years and they showed the regular Fantasy in the Sky, followed by the special surround fireworks. So I assume they will show Wishes, followed by the special fireworks.

Will they show 'Wishes' fireworks at other times in early Dec?

We are not planning to go to MVMCP because we can't really take advantage of the late hours to justify the cost. Does this mean we'll miss our opportunity to see the Wishes program? I hope not.

Last year they had Fantasy in the Sky everynight, even MVMCP nights at 6:00pm closing, so I expect Wishes will be everynight too.

If the Tink or other 'flyer' is not that important, a wonderful viewing spot is in the area right in front of Liberty Tree Tavern. It has been great for Fantasy in the Sky, not sure if the perspective and viewing will change for Wishes.

View I ever had was riding Thunder Mountain during MVMCP fireworks display. Lost track of time and didn't think I could get to good viewing area in time Thunder Mountain was walk on got to ride 4 times in a row without getting off.So got to see most of fire works while riding Thunder Mountain.I think this was a once in a lifetime experience.It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks very much everyone for the great ideas - I think I might try the bridge to Tomorrowland - that sounds most encouraging!
