MVMCP DVC DISCOUNT Question

I just purchased discounted tickets for my all adult party of 5 for a night in December. I was told we can enter the MK at 4 pm and stay through to close (for the party), which I think is about midnight.

Each ticket with the discount was $74.55. I'm wondering and thinking...this is a pretty good price to pay for entry into the park at 4 pm and have the MVMCP for the evening. Or....am I missing something?

I see many posts of people complaining about having to buy the park admission ticket and then the extra ticket for the party and I'm wondering why wouldn't one just get the after 4 pm ticket? Or is it just available on specific nights or for DVC members? I'm sort of thinking "too good to be true" - gotta be a catch

Anyone with a special event (MNSSHP and/or MVMCP) ticket can enter the MK beginning at 4 pm using just the special event ticket. To enter the MK prior to 4 pm, separate admission for the MK is required.

I'm doing the same using this as my park day ticket for a short trip ( Nov 19 is my DVC discount day). You can also make a fast pass reservation for 4:00 and 5:00 if you think you will get there that early once you add the ticket to MDE.

Thank you for this information, however when I asked DVC member services on the phone this morning, they said I cannot FP anything with an event ticket. If you know how to do so, can you please tell me?

I'm using the event ticket for day of arrival with my cousins. I like the idea that we still get 4-Midnight in the park and we're not dropping over $100. Hopefully it works out well. We tried to go to the MVMCP a couple of years ago and it just poured and poured and poured. A real wash out!

Once you link your MVMCP ticket to MDX, it will allow you to make FP+ selections for that day between 4 and 7 pm (once you are within your booking window).

Yes, Enter this on your ticket info on MDE and you can use the fast pass system for the day. However since we can only get in at 4 and the fast pass doesn't have anything listed after 6 , it allowed my to book 1 at 4ish and 1 at 5ish ( buzz light year and splash)

They told me the same thing but I read on here you could so I tried it and the disboards knows better.

Thanks, I was able to book three fast passes for after 4 pm. My favorite, Space Mountain, only from 3:15 to 4:15 so I'm debating...do I run or do I hope that once the park empties out at 7:00 I'll have a short wait?

We went to a discounted DVC party last year and only were able to get FP up until about 6:00. Hope your night goes better than ours. It was so crowded we vowed to never do it again.

We did good w the FP and have 3 we'll be able to use. When you say it was so crowded did you mean the party or before 7:00 pm? Thanks.
