Gutted. We really wanted to see this but we fly home on the 7th.

Just means another trip back to the world!!

We fly home on the 8th, which is the day of the first party. We have done the Halloween parties several times and really enjoyed them, so was hoping we might get to experience the Christmas party this year - poor timing on our part.

It is worth considering the Halloween party as an alternative.

Thanks for this, we arrive on the 7th, wasn't going to do this but may of changed my mind! Is it a good idea to get an early dinner reservation on the day we are planning to do this?

We did MVMCP last year and we went to Chef Mickey's for dinner before. If I was going again, I would have my main meal at lunch time and snack at MK in the evening. It was great to go from Chef Mickey's straight to the party though :)

My kids loved the Christmas Parade (and so did I) with Santa and the gingerbread men. :) Wish I was going again!

This is a picture of Santa who said 'Be good, Jessica!' just as he passed us. My middle daughter is called Jessica.

OMG how awesome that Santa said that!! I was thinking Crystal Palace for dinner so maybe I will re think that for lunch time then.

Also, I am confused by the booking of these tickets :confused3 I clicked through to the official ticket centre to book, it says click here to book but there is then no option to actually book?

Do these have to be booked through here or ringing up or can we book them through Virgin onto our holiday package?

You have to call to book - the number from UK is 001 407 934 7639

Even if you could book them through Virgin (whcih I doubt), I wouldn't anyway as you would pay over the odds for them.

Yay! The dates have come at the perfect time as I can making my dining reservations next week!
I haven't done the Christmas Party since my last week as a CM in 2004 as we have always gone back either in September or October for Halloween.
Very excited!

Thank you I am going to get these booked asap then

We fly home on the 6th of November. I had a feeling we'd miss it, but I was still hoping we'd catch one.

Does anybody know when they change the decorations over in the park from Halloween to Christmas?

MK was normal 5th November last year. On 6th decorations were up and they did the first lighting of the castle (we were at the airport and missed it!)

HS had some decorations up Saturday 3rd but AK didn't Sun 4th.

So there's a really slim chance of some christmas decorations. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It's gutting because the way school holidays fell this year meant we had to go a week earlier than planned.

Thanks for the heads up. We can get booked now and arrange for our friends to book too.

We went last year and had the best time. We loved the atmosphere, the hot chocolate and the castle and fireworks.

Pam

Does that number count as calling a number within the UK or is it an international call?

Is the parade exactly the same then?

Once the Xmas parties are finished the day time parade switches to the Christmas parade which then runs twice a day through to New Year.

Holiday Wishes also replaces normal wishes at night however there are no 360 perimeter fireworks however you wouldn't miss them unless you knew.

Ah ok I see, so I would need to book the christmas party if I wanted to see the christmas parade then because we are going in November. We deffo do not want to miss the christmas parade!
