Hi everyone...I have ADR for Kona before MVMCP, we are staying off site due to a new budget at the house ( job situation) ....can we park at the Poly for our ADR and then take the monorail into MK and then back out to the POLY after the park?

No, but you can park at the TTC and walk to the Poly. Or move your car to the TTC after dinner.

Yup. The two parking lots are next door to each other.
Another option is to park at TTC and ride the monorail to the Poly (2 minute ride.)
The monorail lets guests off on the top floor of the building just a few steps from the Kona.

thanks, I like the monorail option...it's always fun to ride and see the other resorts float by.

Well, in this particular situation, there won't be much floating by of other resorts (Poly is the first stop after you board at TTC.)

But, the access to the Resort Monorail (up a ramp) at TTC will be easier than walking to Poly's Great Ceremonial House and then needing to go to the BACK of the first floor lobby to the tall staircase, then trudging up those stairs. (There is an elevator at the Poly, but it's very small and a slow mover.)

After your meal, and you board the monorail to MK, you'll get to make a brief stop at the Grand Floridian monorail station, then on to the MK station.

I read what you wrote several times, but I don't understand.

If you have a dinner reservation at the Poly (or any other Disney hotel) you can park in the hotel's parking lot. The guard at the gate entrance to the Poly will ask if you have a reservation. If you have one, they'll let you in. I know, I've done this many times. They let in hotel guests and guests with restaurant reservations.

So what am I missing? (and it wouldn't be the first time I missed the obvious)

Also, if you do wind up parking at the Poly (first for dinner and then head over to the MK) you might want to consider taking the Monorail to the TTC when you leave the MK, instead of the Resort Hotel Monorail. The TTC monorail moves a lot of people quickly. Plus, it only makes one stop, the TTC. Walking from the TTC to the Poly lot is not all that bad. If you take the Resort Monorail back to your car, you have to stop at the Contemporary and the the TTC and then the Poly. You can get off at the TTC as well, but you will have already taken the time to stop at the Contemporary.

If you do this, park as far East in the Poly lot as possible. You'll be closer to the TTC for your walk back to the car.

Unless of course I'm completely misunderstanding the issue.

What you're missing is that the OP wants to then leave her car at the Poly while she goes to the MVMCP, and resort parking lots aren't supposed to be used for theme park access.
