MVMCP and Dining Reservations

I am thinking I have seen this asked before but I am unable to find anything on it.

We have ADRs on 12/3 at 6:50p at LTT. The park closes at 7, with MVMCP happening that night. We will not (well, probably not) be doing the party. Will they cancel my ADR?

If so, why do they allow people to make the ADR if they are just going to cancel them??

They won't cancel your ADR.

Since it is before the scheduled park closing I think you will be allowed to keep it even if you don't have party tickets. However, you will have to leave the park as soon as you are done at the restaurant. I think you maybe shouldn't be late getting there.

They let you make them because at the reservations stage they have no idea who has a ticket for the party and who doesn't.

We will for sure be leaving after we eat. I will not be staying for a party I didnt pay for, just doesnt seem right to me!!

I had this exact situation a few days ago at LTT but with the Halloween party. You can make reservations before 7pm without any issue. At 7pm and later the online system will display a warning that a party ticket is required.

When I posed this same question prior to my trip people made it seem as though you would be escorted out of the park after your dinner. I had no such experience. There is a thread about it here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2586728

Once you finish dinner, make your way toward the exit. You won't have any problems.
