I guess my title says it all! Wondering when, assuming since there’s going to be a Halloween party, there will also be the traditional Christmas party. Wondering when those tickets and packages for Candlelight Processional dining typically go on sale. Thanks.

Pre-pandemic, the Candlelight Processional was announced sometime around late June/early July.
In 2019 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was announced mid-January and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was announced in the beginning of April.
My guess would probably be for CP to be announced around the same time as the past like June/July.
MVMCP dates I'm less sure about. My guess, is at first they'll gauge how fast Halloween party tickets sell. Then they can determine prices and get an idea about demand.

How far in advance does Disney announce Mickey's Christmas Party and what date do they start? Since you buy a special ticket for the party do you also have to have a ticket to the Magic Kingdom? Thank you

The last MVMCP was in 2019 and dates were announced on April 8. 2019. The first party was celebrated on November 8 and the final party was on December 22. Tickets ranged in price from $99 to $139, depending on the date. There was no party in 2020 and 2021 saw an After-Hours party instead.

Hard ticket events like MVMCP do not require a regular ticket or park reservation at MK in order to attend. Your event ticket is all that is needed.

I'm wondering if we might hear tomorrow or Tuesday that they're doing "halfway to Christmas" later this week and will announce MVMCP dates, maybe some of the Christmas merch, etc., at that time. Fingers crossed!

One issue with Candlelight is the narrators. You may have to get tickets and not know who the celebrity is.
Better for Disney to have a fuller list of narrators before they start selling diner packages.

Following this thread as I'm ready to hear about CP dining packages.

I'm also hoping for news about what HS has in store for Christmastime. Will JBJB return?

We were there for Christmas in 2020, and that was...sad. Looking forward to the return of the things that make Christmas at WDW so magical!
