Hi,

I have searched the boards here and have seen some conflicting info so I thought I would ask for help from those who have experience with this situation.

We are staying at AOA for one night pre Disney cruise and one night post cruise at PO-Riverside. We purchased a MVMCP ticket for the one night pre cruise and a one day park ticket post cruise(just to see the Osborne Lights one last time .)

In MDE, I can see both of our hotel reservations and also listed are the tickets I have purchased. My questions are 1) Can I book FP+ for the time frame of 4pm-7pm on the MVMCP night? We do not have any other tickets for that day just the MVMCP. 2)How does MDE recognize the one day tickets for FP+ so I can be sure I can book 60 days out not 30? Will it recognize I am staying onsite and bought tickets and know to let me book FP+ or do I have to link the tickets with the specific hotel stay somehow?

Sorry for all the questions but we normally book a package and everything is already linked.

Tomorrow night at midnight will be our 60 day mark and MDE is not telling when I can book my FP+. I seem to remember that it used to count it down for you.

TIA!!:worship:

1a) Sorta. You can book up to the END of the window not later than 6:30PM
Which means your first of the 3 must be for a time near 3:30-4:30PM.
1b) That's fine.
2) It "sees" every valid ticket in your MDE account, and the 60 days open related to your resort check-in date.
3) Yes.
4) The MDE account "sees" that info.
5) That's how it's supposed to work. Completely normal.

This kind of information is explained in the FP+ thread found HERE. Read post #1 and #2 for FP+ recommendations and timing advice.

So tomorrow night it will automatically open the FP+ for me and I can book FP+ for the party day between 4pm and 6:30? And then 60 days from the post cruise stay it will automatically know that ticket is for that stay and open that window up for FP+?

Thank you!!

I was able to book fastpasses with my MVMCP ticket on the 60 day mark. It doesn't restrict the times to be between 4-7PM but make sure your selections are between 3:30-6:30PM.

Thank you Robo for all the info!! You were a big help!! I was told on other boards that you could not book FP on a party day and I didn't think that was correct info. Thank you for confirming. We hadn't bought MVMCP tickets since FP+ and Magicbands went into effect so I wasn't 100% on how everything worked as we usually have park tickets also from the package but with the cruise instead of WDW that raised some questions. Thanks again!!

You may find the green link in my signature helpful.

If you talk to Disney directly, they will be adamant that you can't book FP+ on party days with just your party ticket. (Between 4 and 7pm.) (At least that was my experience with 3 separate calls and 3 separate CMs...) I knew you could from prior experience and from reading here~ I had some type of glitch that wasn't allowing me to book them. Finally on my 4th call, they found what it was and fixed it, so I was able to book them. So yes, yes, yes, yes you can!! :yay:
