Let me paint the scenario so the question will be in the proper context, keeping in mind cost is not the issue.

In 2010, my wife and I honeymooned at WDW and did the MNSSHP, which is the first time either of us had done a hard ticket event like that. We had a blast, and once home and reading what else we missed, like other photo opportunities, etc, we felt maybe we should have done the party twice so we would not have missed out on the stuff.

In 2012, we went during November, and instead of MNSSHP, we did MVMCP, and learning from the previous trip's events, we scheduled the Christmas Party for 2 nights of our trip, a Thursday (day after we arrived) and a Monday (last night we were there). We had a blast both nights, and feel we really were able to do everything, from shows, fireworks, parades and photo ops like the 7 Dwarfs and Scrooge McDuck.

That being said, we are returning again in 2014 in November, and someone posted hours this week for all parks for November, and it is revealed out of our trip of Weds, Nov 12th thru Tues Nov 18th; they will be doing the party on Thurs the 13th, Fri the 14th, and Sun the 16th. Should we try and plan to do the party more than once, or is once enough now that we have done it twice in 2012.

There's your answer.

I thought that too, but as my wife pointed out, how many pictures with the 7 Dwarfs do we need, :lmao:

If you won't be planning any photo ops would you plan to do more rides? The Mine Train and Jingle Cruise will be open and Anna and Elsa have their meet and greet.

Celebrate the Season castle stage show, Totally Tomorrowland, and the Parade will be the same as what you saw two years ago. Would you want to watch these more than once?

Twice in one trip is fun. Last year, older DD and I went to two MVMCPs and after she flew home, I returned for one last party before I flew home. We enjoyed doing different things each night but we made time to watch the parade twice each night!
