MVMCP - 11/9 or 11/12

I'm planning a solo trip in December (first time during that time of year) and would like to attend the MVMCP. I'm looking at either 11/9 (Friday) or 11/12 (Monday). Those are the 2nd and 3rd parties for 2018. Is one, typically, less crowded than the other? Would you recommend one, over the other? I've never done MVMCP before so I'm super excited! TIA!

Monday is Veteran’s Day, just FYI. Could be a long weekend for some folks.

But I vote for the Monday party over a Friday party. I have no solid ground / stats for that assessment other than the ‘feeling’ that more locals may do Friday over a school night.

Having never gone at this time, I didn't even think about Veteran's Day. Does that generally cause a big increase in crowds, in general (not that there are any low crowd times any longer)?

I don’t have personal experience going then, so I don’t really know - hopefully others will chime in. It’s not a ‘major’ holiday in terms of schools being out, so probably isn’t a major crowd driver (?).

I believe the weekend before is Jersey Week, which may be another reason to steer away from that Friday party. But again, no personal experience so my advice isn’t worth very much.

Thanks - yes, hopefully others with experience during that time can help. I'd really like to do that timeframe (11/8 - 11/13), since it is a solo trip, since I'd be able to catch the end of F&W and be there for MVMCP. I've done F&W before, but never MVMCP. So, I'm hopeful that I'm not going to be told that it is a truly horrible time to go! lol

I'm kind of leaning toward the Monday one, but wasn't sure since - generally - Mondays are a considered a busy day for MK (but, maybe not so much on a party day?? Or at least not in comparison to a Friday party day??). Thanks for your input!!

I read somewhere the first 2 parties tend to be more crowded specially with bloggers etc

I would be expecting both of those parties to sell out so not too much of a difference between them. I'd go with whichever day works best in your schedule.

Neither is a good option.
Jersey week is terrible. We have been there twice by accident and the parks were jammed all week.
Most Holiday days are extra busy if businesses or schools have the day off.
Between the 2, I would still do the Monday over a Friday.

Thanks, for your input. I've been during busy times (President's Day week and Spring Break - sooo busy, but still so fun!), so that isn't really an issue (I appreciate ANY day I get to go to WDW, busy or not and always have a great time just 'being' there). I'm actually changing my dates (to arrive on Saturday), so it will be Monday, for sure (better rates for my flights). Seems that has been the most advised of the two, anyway.
