"Must try" beers on property?

Can you buy unopened beer from the lands to take home

Unfortunately, no. Best bet is to jot down what you like and then see if you can buy it locally in your town, state, region. We have a good selection here in New England with great stores in Massachusettes. But as an example, you can't get Yuengling anywhere northeast of NY. :confused3

:(. Wish I could bring a good assortment home

Some suggestions...

Blondes/Hefeweizens:
Widmer Hefeweizen (at a few locations including ESPN Club)
Weihenstaphener Heffewiese (at bluezoo in the Swan)
Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat (standard bar menu)
Blanche de Chambly (only in Le Cellier I believe though)
Dia de Los Muertos Hefeweizen (only at La Cava)
Schofferhofer Weizen (Germany)

Fruit beers & lagers:
Unibroue Ephemere (normally apple but a cherry version was around during F&W, try the Canada Beer Cart)
Ciders! Angry Orchard, Ace Joker and others can be found around the resort.
Schofferhofer Grapefruit - note that this is half Schofferhofer Weizen and half grapefruit juice in a bottle. Can be found in Germany year-round.
The African lagers - Tusker, St. George might be a nice change from the usual. Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge mostly.
Radeberger Pilsner - Germany
New Belgium Shift - pool bar menu and possibly elsewhere.

Thanks for recommending our site/app!

The app update is very nice!

Alaskan Amber isn't found anywhere on property?

Thank you!

Alaskan Amber was on property at one time because we have a page for it but it's not currently anywhere on property that we know of.

So jealous!!!! Can't find it here in Canada. Also checked at a few places with large selection Vermont, alas no.

Where did you find it?

I have found it in a couple of stores here in Hooksett, NH. Bert's Better Beers, and also a little convenience store called Quality Cash in Concord, NH.

I just read an article that stated that Mass will start distributing Yeungling soon. :goodvibes

Really now! I hope this is true! I'll stay on the lookout!

Thanks! We can easily find it here in Cali at BevMos and Rite-Aid but DD is a CM and was wondering about it on property. Maybe she'll try WoB.

Someone mentioned the Unibroue beers - you can get them at the popcorn cart in Canada as well.

As for the grapefruit beer in Germany - it was worth trying but I did not find it something I could drink all day.

The selection in Sommerfest in Germany is a little better than the cart - at least they had the weizen. You really need to check all three spots in Germany (Pretzel cart, stand and sommerfest) the selections were different at each - for example one had the grapefruit beer on draft and the other in a bottle. Somerfest had the weizen as well as a wiess in bottles I think. YMMV

They all had the Oktoberfest and that is a reasonable choice although I with they had Paulaner.

I agree about the grapefruit beer! It is really delicious, however, I can't get past 1.5 of them without feeling incredibly full.

I am glad I am able to get them though and just keep them in the fridge for when I want a taste. :goodvibes

I just visited their brewery in PA a few weeks ago and I thought they said they distributed everywhere on the East Coast with the exception of CT, but I see that is not true!

Also, they said they can't expand distribution right now because they are at 100% capacity at all 3 of their breweries. They don't even have any for sale at the brewery because it's all spoken for.

I would use as a first cut only beers you can't get locally which probably eliminates 95% of what Disney serves. So my recommendation would be Cigar City Jai Alai (from Tampa) or maybe a Terrapin (from Georgia). Some of the beers at Germany can be difficult to find but they are very pedestrian...and please don't get me going on the 2% alcohol grapefruit "beer".
