DW and I are going on our frist trip to WDW. We have both been to DL quite a few times and are familiar with rides from the tour planning books, DVD from Disney and various TV shows on the Travel Channel and Discovery. What I am looking for is things that these types of information don't tell you about. What where better to ask then here. Thanks for any suggestions!

Don't miss a meal at 'Ohana in the Polynesian...its our favorite place for a nice sit down meal. The SpectroMagic parade is awesome! Take a walk through the Wilderness lodge...its beautiful!!!! If you like to drink, get a beer from each country in Epcot...then jump on Test Track ;)

Must sees:

Test Track
Soarin'
Mickey's PhilarMagic
Wishes
SpectroMagic
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Great Movie Ride
Fantasmic!
Dinosaur

All of those will really make your vacation special! :)

You realize that you will get 50 different answers from 50 different people!

For two adults, no kids, I would pick the following for each park:

AK: Festival of the Lion King, Expedition Everest and Kilomajaro Safaris
MGM: Tower of Terror, Star Tours & Fantasmic
Epcot: Soarin', Honey I Shrunk the Audience
MK: Everything? No, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, BTMRR, Haunted Mansion, Mickey's Philharmagic, PotC, Spectromagic, Wishes Fireworks.

I would recommend one character meal, even as adults, depending on if you are into that thing.

We think the best things WDW has to offer are:

Epcot: Spaceship Earth and World Showcase
Magic Kingdom: Pirates & Haunted Mansion
Animal Kingdom: Festival of the Lion King

Great suggestions, and to that list I'd add Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safari at AK, Rock & Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror at MGM and strolling along World Showcase and taking in Illuminations at Epcot.

I would have to agree DisneyWorldWisher and the Mick. I would add:

Festival of the Lion King - AK
Catch the monorail and tour the deluxe resorts, plus take the boat to the wilderness lodge

I agree - try a couple of character meals and yes to O'Hana's and yes to Whispering Canyon at WL (they aren't character meals, but they are great)

If you like shopping - go to World of Disney at Downtown Disney, but don't forget the shops at the deluxe resorts

If you like parades and fireworks, you'll need to plan extra time for finding that good spot and sitting for awhile. Personally I like the middle of main street, just passed Casey's to watch Wishes - but each person has their own favorite.

Don't make the mistake I did on my first trip - we ran around like our pants were on fire trying to see everything! We thought this would be our only trip ever! Yeah right!! ;)

Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!! Cindy

Everyone basically covered the attractions you should see so my suggestion is for when you do the Kilimanjaro Safari: try to go on it as early as you can especially if it's really hot out. From my experience, there are a lot more animals out and about in the morning and they tend to disappear as the day goes on.

Don't miss FANTASMIC AT MGM - It's the best show in WDW.
For a great meal eat at O'hana in the Polynesian Resort

Hehe, I asked my little sister which ride she thinks ya'll should ride and she said that ya'll HAVE to ride The Winnie the Pooh ride XD. She also says you must must MUST see the characters and have them sign pillow cases like we did the last time [=

I hope that ya'll have a super fun time!

Fantasmic
Festival of the Lion King
Soarin'
Turtle Talk with Crush
Expediton Everest
