My pregnant wife and I will be in disney from Dec 16-22. We planned on staying outside of disney at Gaylord palms and renting a car. She is looking to get a massage and stuff. I wanted to know what we should definaltly not miss while there. Any help would be great

wdw decorates for Christmas - so the parks, resorts and DD are all decorated.

would definitely go to see them if you can.

yea, she cant do many rides and things of that nature. There was a site that listed a bunch of things. Epcot has a few things, the osbourne thing at mgm, ice at gayloard palms. Just wanted to hear from someone that has been down there, as this will be our last trip for awhile.

We have gone down for the holiday stuff for the last few years, and this is what I still enjoy doing...

High Tea at the Grand Floridian, because you can have Tea while looking at a Giant, life size Gingerbread cottage inside the lobby, and lisen to Christmas music(live, some of the time...)

We go to all the resorts to see the new Gingerbread decorations each year. Like the Beach/Yatch club behind ECPOT has a Giant Choclate and Gingerbread Carsole each year, I think there is info on what each resort/hotel has someplace, but we just go and look for it. There are also 2 story tall Christmas trees in Animal King.Lodge, Wilderness Lodg., G.Flor, and lots of the other resorts.

ECPOT has times posted that has a Santa, or other holiday person, from each of the countries, they are Storytellers and each show is about 15 to 20 min. Of course they dress like the character from that country, and it is fun to hear about different customs.
ECPOT also has the Candlelight Pro. in the theater across from the USA building. There are sometimes special dinner seating so you don't have to stand in line as long to get a good seat for the show.

Each park has something special going on, I think there are holiday elements included in the different firework shows, some parades, and other things.

Hope this gives you a start...We head down Sun after Thanksgiving for a week!

Dare I say it? You might enjoy Sea World this trip. It is alot of wonderful shows and not too much activity. A Cirque D Soleil would be a nice treat, also a round at Fantasia Gardens or Winter/Summerland course on Disney.

then might avoid the parks. Epcot does have the candlelight procession - but that does require a lot of walking to get to it.

the site was this one

you can go around to the resorts - driving - and see a bunch of decorations.

so we booked gaylord palms. Right now we plan to go to epcot, seaworld, and magic kingdom. We may do ICE right in our hotel, but we are in the process of trying to rent a car too. Are then any good offers around. Is there anything going on at the boardwalks of disney and universal. Thanks for all the help
