What are some of the must haves you pack for a trip to WDW? My favorite tip I have gotten is the shoe organizer for the bathroom door. Does anyone else have special tips when packing? I like to have the room set up like home. (as close as I can)

A must bring for us is a pop up hamper.

Keeps the room looking nice and dirty clothes and clean clothes are kept separate.

At the Dollar store they sell stand up toothbrush holders for...well $1. I need these. I refuse to lay my toothbrush down and those covers aren't sanitary.
Oh and liquid hand soap. It's one of the comforts from home that I need.

When going to the parks, I always say bring an extra pair of everything (T-Shirt definitely, possibly socks and underwear) especially during Summer, (depending on how much you sweat.) or if you're planning on riding something that gets you wet that day. (Kali River Rapids, Splash Mountain) Being wet all day is not comfortable and the minute or two it takes to jump into a bathroom stall to swap something out is worth all the time in the world.

Water Bottle. Rather than bringing bottled water its easier to bring your own sports-style water bottle and just fill it up at the water fountains around the park.

Little snacks. Fruit snacks, granola bars, crackers; just something to keep your bloody sugar up in between meals.

And of course some sort of medium-size backpack to carry it all.

As PP's have posted I always bring the over the door organizer, hand soap and Pop-up Hamper. Other things I bring are

Silicone bracelts for our kids that have DH and my phone number pre-printed on them. I got them from the following site and it was the best purchase I ever made. http://www.reminderband.com/ They have kid and adult size. The only note is to get the writing in a different color than the actual bracelet. The first pair I ordered I could not read the phone numbers.

Plastic lids that you usually get on drinks from fast food restaurants - we use this when you buy our child ice cream. You put the stick through the straw opening and it keeps the ice cream from dripping on them

Small pack of wet wipes

Disney temporary tattoo's. Our kids love these. they get a new one each day(we also bring baby oil to remove the tattoos).

We bring souvenirs from previous vacations. Our kids love to have a light chaser when they watch the parades and fireworks. Since the ones sold in the parks do not change from year to year we just bring ours back each year.

Water proof card holder for the water parks.

Xtra pair of glasses if you wear prescription glasses. Last year I lost my regular glasses and broke my perscription sunglasses so I was really glad to have these.

Also, below are links to two more things I bought for this upcoming trip. I have never used them before so we will see if they get a permanent place on the packing list:

https://www.pocketchair.com/ - I plan to put a couple of these in the bottom of the stroller for watching parades.

http://www.packit.com/ - for brining our own snacks and drinks

I always pack a power strip. Great for charging phones, cameras, DSs, etc. I works perfect for us!!

DON'T LAUGH. It's hotter than a buffet at family reunion in Orlando in the summer; and Standing in line, can create a smelly odor. So, In my backback I carry a travel size of febreeze, or my fave room scent from bath and body. Make sure to just spray on clothes and not your skin.:rolleyes1

Power strip-keeps all the chargers in one place instead of all over the room so you don't miss any when you are packing up to leave

Small room deodorizer spray

Clip hangers that have a curved top (like a regular clothes hanger) for hanging up wet stuff somewhere - not every resoort has that little in the shower pull out clothesline

Last year we stayed at the Poly and I bought a room spray called Island Margarita from Bath & Body works. It was a perfect match. I have it in my home too, and my kids say it smells like the Poly. :goodvibes

Great idea....maybe not so much for yourself, but for the other "stinky" guests...LOL:goodvibes

Clothes pins for our swimsuits, coins and detergent sheets for laundry, pennies for pressing. We always pick up snax & water @ Target on the way from the airport.

We always pack a nightlight when we travel. You're in an unfamiliar room (less so at Disney :)) and we always end up getting up in the middle of the night for bathroom trips, needing some advil, etc.

One thing I personally need to remember for next time, is lounge pants and slippers, DH is usually hot, and I tend to be cold.

I got this tip from the DIS board a few years back....pack a small, clear bag that closes (zips, snaps, whatever) for Band-Aids, Neosporin spray, Shout wipes or Tide pen, hand sanitizer. I added rubber bands to tie our hair back when we got hot or when my then-toddler had to pull out her hair bow 4million times each day :)

I can't tell you how often this came in handy on our Disney trip! I just restocked the bag each night when we returned to the resort.

Have fun!

Hand sanitizer! We also bring a package of wet wipes in case we get a table that needs cleaning at a CS place.

Love this list and am writing everything down. In addition to what has been posted:

*Cool mist personal (battery-operated) cooling fans for summer
*Bandaids - lots of them (I think this was mentioned with Neosporin)

The two must haves for me are a small hand-held fan and blister bandages. I don't like the large mister fans. I think they are two large to carry around. At my age you need a fan when the internal thermostat goes haywire.:rotfl:
