"Must Have's" for cruising!

Our first cruise was last October, and part of the fun was reading what people posted as "must haves!!" for cruising! I would love to read what you take on your cruise that I might forget to add to our "must have" list!!! Come on now.......don't disappoint me!!!

A night light, and a waterproof money/credit holder thing for when you go to the beach. A sweater or light sweatshirt jacket for in the lounges......they were freezing.

Zip lock frezzer (stronger) bags...all sizes

My must haves:

DH - wouldn't cruise without him!
A waterproof holder for cards/money - great for the pool or the beach.
A small travel alarm clock with night light. I usually don't need a wake-up call, but I do like to know what time it is when I wake up in the middle of the night.
Some tide tablets and dryer sheets - just in case I need to use the laundry.
A good book - so I can relax and read - something I don't always have time to do at home.
Sunscreen - because a great vacation can get ruined with a burn!

The clear over the door shoe holder!!! Got mine at Target for $5 and it was the best investment for us. We leave it packed with our luggage and now use it *every* vacation. It is particularly helpful on the cruise where there is limited table top space. We use it to hold hair brushes/combs, all of DD's hair stuff, extra change, sunglasses .... all that stuff you want to toss on the dresser top.

Lots of sunscreen plus make your clothes resistant to sun with the Rit Sunguard to inscrease the SPF of your clothes:

Pehaps the moderators can build a list of "Tips" on the permanent list at the top of the Board (Important????? They wouldn't get lost so easily and be handy to divert the same questions repeatedly.
