Is there some sort of list somewhere of what to pack for a baby for WDW? Or, if not, what would you recommend or wish you had while there? FYI, DS will be 7 months. Thanks!

DOn't know about a list, but I would make sure to have a small fan or two to attach to a stroller (one they either can't touch or is made of foam blades).

Sunscreen and a hat, sunglasses if they'll keep them on
An extra ziploc bag of clothes..use a freezer gallon size)
Lots of wipes
A blankie or other loved object
A cooler bag to keep formula or breast milk cold

Can't think of anything else.

You shouldn't need to bring a lot of toys. We did that the first time we took DD. She was 13 months at the time. There was so much to see and do and just being in a new place she didn't even touch them. We've been there every year since (she'll be 5 in June) and never take toys..just the portable DVD player for the trip down and back.

Probably the most important thing would be a really great baby carrier (aka NOT a snugli or bjorn!).

At that age I really liked my Kangaroo Korner Adjustable Fleece Pouch and my Moby Wrap. I think I would have liked my BabyHawk Mai Tei then as well but didn't get it until ds was over a year old.

Check out some of the baby wearing threads here for more input!

We went in Aug at about the same age....

We flew. I took along enough stuff for one day. Then we made a Target run for formula (ready-made bottles), baby food and diapers.

To do it again, I'd start a few more solid foods before going (mroe puffs and crackers). DD was just getting into high chairs, but not food. This was our hardest out-to-eat time, because she was aware of us eating and her not eating (I would feed her between ordering and receiving food). We still can't eat in front of her! On the same note, we needed a few toys at TS meals.

My DH held her in line and we bought (also at Target) a mister fan. We all used it in line.

I have a Maclaren and bought the universal bag for it. That way, no diaper bag! I would pack a nylon lunchbag (make sense?) with the food we needed (usually never more than one meal since we'd go back to the hotel in the afternoon). I would take the changing pad and stick the wipes and a diaper in that. I'd jam that in the bottom of the stroller.

In the hanging bag, I'd have an extra diaper and the containment bags. That's also where I'd keep the meal toys. I'd change these out some. I don't think I carried a wallet since we had KTTW cards and my husband carried those. But if I had, I just put that in the top of the hanging bag and throw it in my pocket when we park for rides.

Also, we did take along a bag (Target size) of toys. That way she'd have something to do while we got ready, packed, etc. Sometimes they like the familiarity. This bag fits well in the carseat travel bag that we would check. The extra diapers also fit in there on the trip home.

Anything else?

Everyones ideas are good! I am an overpacker so I got crazy. I do reccomend if you bring a stroller to bring one or two pillow cases. This helps cool the strollerseats and the baby won't stick to the padding. I also would freeze the 4oz juicy Juice boxes and they would be thawed and ready for lunch. We once took my oldest when she was 16 months and wish I was more prepared with the pillow cases;)

We took our son when he was 5 months old...aside from the usual diapers, wipes, food, blanket and/or special snuggly item, clothes, stroller, carrier etc etc. The only thing that I couldn't live without were blankets. Lightweight receiving blankets worked perfectly. I used them for everything. If I wanted to lay him down on something, I put the blanket down first. If I wanted to cover the stroller while he napped, I threw the blanket over the canopy. On more than one occasion this not only kept the sun out of his eyes, but if he would stir a little bit and only saw the blanket, he would fall back to sleep. If the blanket wasn't there, as soon as his eyes opened the littlest bit he was wide awake. I also would wet a blanket with water and let him hold them or lay it on top of him to cool him off. Of course, at night if it got chilly we had them then too.

Have a great trip!:goodvibes

When we took DS at 11 months, we didn't pack all of the food that we needed...we had it shipped from gardengrocer.com. They had a great selection of jarred foods, formula, diapers, wipes, bibsters, yogurt (yo baby). I high;y reccommend it.
Also, be sure to take advantage of the baby care centers in each park. They offer a great place to feed and change your baby. They even sell baby care needs.
Swim diapers
Change of clothes in a ziploc bag

Also, if baby is in need of a haircut, consider getting it cut at the barbershop in MK...free ears, a certificatem, and great memories:)

your own pack-n-play sheet.

A front baby carrier, so you can wear baby in lines, on rides and in shows.

Table Toppers, presterilized mats that stick to the table for finger foods.

A fully reclining stroller with basket and cup holders. A rain cover for the stroller.

The only other thing I can think of was we packed for our 9 month DD at the time Baby Powder. Some mom's don't like to use it, but I did. I'd put it under her arms behind her legs. It helped keep her cool.
The receiving blanket was key. We draped it over the stroller to keep the sun out of her face.
Waterless soap. For mom and dad.
I also brought every kind of medicine...tylenol, motrin, hydrocortizone .5%, her vitamins, desitin, even a thermometer.

if you're not bringing your own pack and play - then bring extra wipes - the one we got one time was very dusty -

and a small brita pitcher - we got ours for < $10 and we knew then that the water we gave the baby - or mixed w/formula was good -

and pedialite - only a half of the bottle at a time - but it helped w/dehydration

Yes. I started one several days ago called "cool gear for children". I'm not sure how to post the link but you'll find it in BOTH the FAMILIES and the TIPS areas.

I'll add things to the top post that people include on the thread.

We used baby powder in DD's diaper instead of Desitin over the summer. We also never travel without the Tylenol and the Orajel!

Depending on the baby's age, we moved to filtered tap water or bottled (not Dasani) water for formula when we got over our own "anal" stage. Again, ready-made bottles avoid the need for water....

We took our son when he was 9 months old, and the thing I was most thankful to have was our Protect-A-Bub sunshade for our stroller. It fit on the stroller right over the canopy and provided lots of extra shade.

Get to know where the baby centers are in the parks- they'll have just about anything you might forget as well as nice big changing tables, nursing rooms if you're nursing, and a room w/high chairs for feeding...also if you need to heat anything up, it's there, it's air conditioned and cool, and a nice space to chill out for a little while.

This umbrella, not the wagon....
Everywhere we go this went with us for all the kids. I found this one on Target for $15.99
It really helps block the sun, everyone would stop and ask wehre we got it from. It was for the wagon but we use it for the stroller too.
