We bought this for our trip last year and couldnt believe all the comments we got---
I swear I could have started selling them as we went thru the parks

The best part of it is we are able to keep DS cool while we were in the blazing sun

What a great find! Think I will head on over to Amazon and get one! Many thanks! Our must have were clip on fans. Wish I had a surplus of those to sell in Oct '05. It was HOT. The fans were blowing hot air of course, but at least they had a little breeze.

In the first post, if you follow the link to Amazon and see "Other Products", I would also recommend the UV Rayshade for older kids particularly. We used one of these for our 3 1/2 year and 20 month old children last year and loved it! It is very flexible and folds quickly and did a great job for those times walking in the parks directly into the sun, especially when one of the kids was catching some zzzzz's. Just a footnote to the original post...

Another footnote: once jr. has outgrown the stroller you can use the umbrella on lawn chairs. Portable shade for soccer games, etc.
