Must have snacks

I like the dole whip too (right outside the Tiki Tiki Room). And I really like the fresh warm popcorn from the California Adventures cart, I get half caramel and half regular...mmm mmm good!

I really like the Chip 'N Dale Snack Co. honey roasted peanuts. :) Not too sweet, not too salty. PERFECT! I always have to grab a bag or two when I go!

chocolate covered popcorn from Marceline's (but you can usually get it in the gift shop at the hotel too lol)

I love many of the snacks at Pooh's corner, but my favorite is a crushed-Oreo-covered pretzel

The absolute must for me are the chocolate covered bananas. I like a lot of the other food, but this is my must-have every trip.

I love all this info. I am wondering about the carmel on the popcorn is it crunchy or gooey carmel? For me the gooeyer the better.

These are the snacks that I love to eat when I'm there.

1. Dole Whip
2. Churro
3. Mickey Ice Cream Bar
4. Mickey Pretzel with extra salt and nacho cheese
5. Fudge from the candy shop on Main St.
6. Popcorn... it tastes better at DL than at the movies.

There are a couple things I still need to try. Such as a breadbowl of chili at Coke Corner, Mickey Beignets at Cafe Orleans, and I need to buy a load of mickey bread from the "farmer market" stand over near A bugs land and the Pacific Warf Area. I also want to try the skewers at Bengal BBQ. I was just never able to fit them in.

Food related posts are my favorite ones.

My favorite snack in the parks is a Jalapeno Cheese Filled Pretzel. It's soooooo good. Of course, free tortillas from DCA are also delicious. For something sweet, I love the chocolate covered caramel corn in the candy shops.

I really am in love with Turkey legs, corn dogs, bacon wrapped asparagus (from Bengal BBQ), and fried mozzarella sticks from the Golden Horseshoe. I'm a big eater, so these aren't really "snacks" but just deliciously typical greasy theme park meals. If you share though, I'd say they qualify as snacks

That said, sometimes I feel like there are snacks at WDW or Tokyo Disney Resort that would be great at DLR. Like Kaki Gori or the make your own treats at Goofy's Candy Shop in Downtown Disney. Don't even get me started on the amazing flavored popcorns or the giant gyoza sandwich at TDR

The Bengal Tails are pricy but oh so good. We always get them. You must make time to have them at least once.

I love the tigger tails, but DH hates caramel so he gets a cupcake from Pooh corner which he LOVES. Plus I usually steal part of it and I second his love! They are HUGE and so rich. I love them. DH is also a fan of the dole whips while I prefer the Mickey premium ice cream bar (eaten ears first, naturally!) Oh and I agree that the popcorn is amazing! mmm...ok, getting seriously hungry now. Oh, and the mickey shaped chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered coconut patties that they sell on Main Street (in a box) are awesome too!

Turkey leg

Hands down one of the best turkey legs i've ever eaten, a disney trip just isn't complete without one.

Well, I discovered that the caramel cashew marshmallows are even better than tigger tails on this trip! The chocolate peanut butter sandwich at Pooh's Corner is spectacular too.

My boys love the frozen cherry lemonade, not the minute maid kind but the fresh slushy kind we found at the cart in DCA near the Golden State area.

I've never had a better churro than those at DL.

My favorite Disney snacks have to be Mickey Waffles, Churros, Kettle Corn in DTD:thumbsup2

I must admit that I do miss McDonald's Fries though, usually I am not a big McDonald's fan...something about grabbing an order of fries :sad1:

Did anyone ever try the Lobster shooters they had April of 2008 during the Food & Wine Festival in DCA? They were delish! Also a big fan of a cocktail they had at PCH Grill, it had banana liquer and chocolate...so yummy, don't remember the name though.

I may have to try the PB sandwich...sounds great! And I love the slushy kind of lemonade there...never had the cherry lemonade though, might have to try that too!

My boss is a huge foodie and he "forced" me to go to DCA and get a corn dog on the Pier. It was the last day it was open before it closed for construction and now you can't get one. I will never forgive him for that!
