We're heading down next month, staying at Poly, and I'm finishing my packing list. I always feel like I'm going to forget something. So, my question is, what is your must have packing item for in your resort room?

The only items I bring for the room specifically are a travel sound machine and a blanket.
Clothespins. They're good for closing the gap in the drapes when you're sleeping, hanging wet bathing suits on the line in the bathroom and for clipping bags of chips and whatnot closed.
Ziploc Bags. Good for meting out snack for in the park, keeping electronics dry on wet rides, and as ice packs for coolers or for injuries.

We drive so we are able to bring more:) Extension cord, ziploc bags, snacks, water, hanging closet organizer (never enough drawer space for the 4 of us), sun block, blankets, rain ponchos, sunglasses, toiletries and of course all of our electronic chargers and cords.

Closet/over-the-door organizer for personal items, house-slippers, mini sewing kit/safety pins, Lysol, Tide Pen, Roku, first-aid/Covid kit (pulse oximeter, thermometer/covers, masks, sanitizer, etc)

Don't bother packing clothespins. Just use one of the skirt hangers, the one with two clothespin-like clamps. You can space out the clamps and get a good block of the drapery gap.

Not the most decorative use of a skirt hanger but far better than forgetting clothespins, which I nearly always used to do until learning this tip.

(And yes, I've had clipped chip bags hanging in the closet, too.)

I typically bring my own paper plates, trash bags, tissues, and toilet paper. In general, I am not a fan of resort TP & tissues.

Oh yes I do bring a pair of scissors especially if I'm doing a special event that uses a wrist band.
Found out the hard way once that they are not easy to take off.
I had to go down to the front desk at 1:30am once because I couldn't get it off and it was driving me nuts lol.

We like to bring a pump bottle of antibacterial soap for the sink, nightlight for the bathroom, small bottle of dish liquid to wash mugs, battery operated tea lights, over the door shoe hanger to hold park essentials; sunscreen, ponchos, sunglasses, snacks, extra batteries, phone chargers, small things that will just clutter the room if not corralled. We drive and bring some breakfast items and room snacks so I get Disney themed paper plates, cups and a themed box of tissues ( from $ store). A pop up mesh hamper comes in handy for the closet as well for dirty clothes.

One time they put it on me so tight it was blocking my circulation and my fingers were tingly and I had to track down a CM to help me remove and replace it!

First aid kit, which also contains a few sewing items like neutral thread and needle.

I bring a small flashlight. It comes in handy for finding my way around in the dark or reading when DH wants to sleep. :)
Oop, yep, this is also an item keep in my suitcase. Along with a baggie with spare batteries.

I drive down so having to pack things in a suitcase isn't an issue for me. I always bring my hanging toiletry bag and just put things back in it after use so there is no clutter on the counter tops. I bring a couple of rolls of toilet paper. There is always a pair of scissors and a cork screw in my car for emergencies (yes I've had a wine emergency and had to use a pocket knife to pop the cork down into the bottle) and I have a tiny little sewing kit in my toiletry bag that has a tiny little pair of scissors. I bring the usual chargers for phone and kindle and an adapter so they can plug in to a regular outlet. I always have ziplocks in all sizes (I just put a bunch of them in a large gallon sized one and squeeze all the air out and it fits in little nooks of my suitcase) and always carry at least one snack size one in my pocket to the parks, I use the regular sandwich size ones to put wet ponchos in at the parks.

We have all those things too - in our Owners Locker! So nice not to have to pack and transport them, whether by air or car!
