'Must-go' restaurants + anniversary celebration, with 3 years old?

I have three-year-old twin boys and we’re heading to Disney World in 2026 (yay!). We’ll be celebrating our wedding anniversary during the trip, so I’m looking for recommendations for restaurants or activities. We’ve considered a character breakfast, but since their past experiences with characters at Disneyland Paris and other parks have been a bit 'hit or miss,' we’re unsure. Does anyone have suggestions for things we could do that might be a better fit? Any perhaps something more for 'us' but also suitable for kids as well? Thanks!

I have not been there in 20 plus years, but when my boys were little they loved Crystal Palace in MK, with the Winnie the Pooh characters.

We went to 1900 Park Fare at GF around that time and we all loved it for breakfast. It is new and improved these days and getting great review.

And of course Chef Mickeys was a hit when they were little too.

With your boys being 3, I guess pick based on characters that they would love.

Happy Anniversary!

They like different characters so I am torn! Will do some research too thanks :)

Based on what I hear, the meals/character meals at Disneyland Paris aren't as good as what you will get at WDW. I haven't been to DLP, but do hope to this year. There are a lot of goot choices. In-Park, I like Tusker House and Garden Grill as character meals, but there are other good choices too. 1900 Park Faire was good when I went, but I haven't been since updates. I think you'll have a good experience with characters though.

Ah good to know! Maybe we can give it a go this time :)

If you want a character breakfast that's a little on the "fancier" side, I would do Topolino's breakfast. Great food, beautiful atmosphere. It's also a plated meal so less chaotic and you aren't jostling at a buffet trying to get everyone's food. For an anniversary meal, consider California Grill. The view is spectacular - my DS really loved going out on the observation platforms when he was little to see Magic Kingdom at night and see EP Spaceship Earth from the back platform as well. If they like shows, you could also consider going over to Ft. Wilderness to see Hoop Dee Doo Revue. They have pony rides over there as well for smaller children (just check the times). We also love going for a horse carriage ride after the show (make sure to make a reservation if you want to do this).
