Heading to the World next month for our 7th trip and decided to try some new eating places out at Epcot. We have been to:

Coral Reef
San Angel
Teppanyaki
Garden Grill

Any other places we really need to check out? How about Italian?

Thanks

try LeCellier in Canada! the food, atmosphere and service are all very good!!!!!!!! :)

Laura :)

We like the Biergarten, Le Cellier and Chef's de France.

every time we go we have to eat at the san angel inn. The last trip we did that plus germany, I believe it is the biergarten. We had an awesome buffet lunch. I would run there in a heartbeat.

Another vote for Le Cellier!

Our favorite is LeCellier, always good.

Others we have tried:

Teppanyaki: pretty much the same as your local Bennihana but twice the price.

Italy: we did a late lunch in May, it was pretty good, not crowded at that time (around 2:00).

Try to get a seating at Rose-n-Crown about an hour to 1-1/2 hour before Illuminations is scheduled and ask for the upper terrace. The view of the show is the best and if you have a pre-k to kindergarden age child with you, he/she might be asked to start the fireworks for Mickey. Our then four year old did this last Christmas. It was the highlight of the trip.

Le Cellier is great. Marrakesh is good, especially the belly dancer...don't tell my wife I said that.

Coral Reef is not what it used to be.

Akershus is good if you like seafood buffet.

another vote for Biergarten. My 13 DS favorite restaurant in the world (not just WDW the planet LOL)

We like San Angel Inn, Tempura Kiku, Garden Grille and of course, Le Cellier!

You asked about the Italian restraunt. We went there in August of this year and was not impressed. The atmosphere was really cool... but unfortunately, I would have rather went to "The Olive Garden" than the Italian restraunt in EPCOT, as far as food goes. It wasn't bad, but wasn't spectacular either..... had the Lasagna for my entree.

Nevertheless, many people have given bad reviews to some of my favorite places, so if you really want to try the Italian.... try it out! You'll never know until you go!

My personal favorites are Norway and Germany! (I can never remember the real names of these places... sorry:cool:

Good luck!

Went to the 'Italian Restaurant' this past June and ditto.....not impressed!
Food was good..atmosphere was drab....wait staff was pushy pushy pushy! Kept trying to push huge appetizers and made you feel bad if you didn't want it and then pushed the wine (although I was with my daughter and her friend both aged only 17) and we knew the big sell for dessert was coming...which it did...so out of guilt we ordered one to share and got dirty looks! Honest...we were full and didn't want anything. The you felt they wanted you out quickly once you were just about finished!
First time...last time!:(

Epcot must does are: Le Cellier and Chef de France.

Italy used to be a must do; but last visit servers were not a friendly -- seemed like they wanted to turn-around tables quickly. Menu changed, and prices increased.

I agree,Teppanyaki -- "pretty much the same as your local Bennihana but twice the price" -- if you have never been to such a place, its fun to try at least once.

I would definatly give Italy a try. We went there on our last visit and loved it! The atmopshere was great. We also thought the food was delicious. My least favorite was the Coral Reef. The food was horrible. I would have rather eaten trash off the floor!

We ate lunch at Corral Reef, I had the seared Tuna (Rare), and a scallop appitizer. I thought the food there was wonderful, and since it was our 2yr aniversery we were seated right on the glass. For whoever thinks they would reather eat the trash off the floor, try the tuna next time:p . As for the San Angel Inn, the atmosphere was great, but the sevice was sorry and my high dollar steak was probably as tuff as one of the old test track tires:mad: I would rather drink the water on the Mexico ride (no pun intended) than eat there again:) :) :)

I agree with those who thumbs down Alfredo's (Italian) It was pretty good when it first opened but has gone down hill and has gotten over priced. I also second the votes for Le Cellier! If you like beef, its awesome! ;)

We have ate at Rose & Crown Pub on every trip and always love it . We have ate at Le cellier and really liked it too. The only restaurant we did not like was Alfredo's restaurant in Italy, you do not get much food and the prices are very high. We even had to buy our own water.
