"Must Eats" at WDW

Okay - Okay, I must admit! I have a new addiction and I just can't help it! :rotfl: I just recently tried the Frozen Banana covered with Chocolate and Nuts - and I adore them! Upon each park I attend I can't leave without eating at least two of these things! I know, I know - it's a bad habit, but at least the Banana part is healthy! :lmao:

I also want to know what a French Toast Loaf is! Also, what is a Kaki Gori, and a Zebra Dome for that matter? I feel boring. The only thing I could think of is the Tonga Toast (which I love more than any other breakfast in the world as well.)

I may be in the minority here but I can't wait to get a pretzel from the food carts. I think they are the perfect pretzel. I love them with alot of salt. I hate the ones at the mall full of grease and a couple of pieces of salt. I do want to try the schoolbread that looks good.

There is a big pretzel in Tomorrowland that has a cream cheese filling. It is so good. I was on a giant pretzel kick while I was in WDW and i was pleasantly pleased to find that one. I think you can also get them in Fantasyland too!...

[note to self: go DIRECTLY to Tomorrowland to get a cheese-filled pretzel....]

I didn't read through all the posts so someone may have already posted this, but I just loved the frozen lemonade in MK. I got it near the Swiss Family treehouse. It was so refreshing in the heat.

Oh, the shawarma platter at Tangerine Cafe is INCREDIBLE.

Lamb (or chicken), with their cucumber/yogurt dressing...and the hummus...and the tangerine cous-cous (this stuff is AWESOME)...and the bread they serve is with it is warm and soft...VERY good. Highly recommended.

Edit: BTW, much of what you can get at Tangerine Cafe is relatively healthy compared to a lot of what you get elsewhere...so if you're feeling a little guilty ;) about splurging at The World, having lunch or dinner here might help a little!

I tried a Casey's hot dog this past weekend for the first time...mustard and saurkraut... WOW that was good....

Well, I got some new ideas from this thread (as a woman 3 months pregnant, I am drooling on my keyboard at the things I can try in just over 2 weeks!)

Our favorites are:
Counter/Carts
Popcorn at MK (both regular and caramel corn)
Mickey Bars (though we only discovered these after about a dozen trips!)
Roasted Pecans/Almonds in EPCOT (the smell alone is amazing!)
Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshakes from Tune-in Lounge in MGM (next to 50's Primetime)
Anything from the Main Street Bakery
Hot dog nuggets from Casey's Corner
Ghiardelli's Sundaes (downtown disney)

Well I have very little memories of things I've eaten at Disney so I will be sure not to make the same mistakes again (thanks Free Dining Plan!).

On my list of "must eats/drinks" are:

Kaki Gori
Dole Whip
French Toast Loaf
Gelato (only because I've always wanted to try it)
Tiramisu (if I can find it, because I love it and can't get the good stuff at home)
Cinnamon Roll from Main Street Bakery (for DD8 who LOVES cinnamon rolls)
African wine (AKL)
Zebra Domes (AKL)
Ice Cream Sandwich (from Main Street Bakery...heard they are incredible!)

Going to eat at CRT because I can...always wanted to as a girl and never got the chance. Thanks to Free Dining I'm finally going to eat there at 35 years old!

Black bean nachos at Mexico CS
Kaki gori in japan!
I love all the thanksgiving type food at LTT!
Turkey and cheese sandwich at Earle (sub turkey for the ham)- and their tomato soup- i love it!
Beignets at French quarter food court- worth the trip over
Dole Whip float at MK
Ham/cheese quiche and chocolate mousse at france CS
Cheese soup at Le Cellier
chocolate covered marshmellows at goofy's candy co. DTD
cheese filled pretzels at MK near TL

can't wait to have all of these, plus some new things I want to try - like dinner at Chefs de France, dinner at Ohana, french toast loaf etc.

...well, I tried the cheese-stuffed pretzels at the Launching Pad (in Tomorrowland in MK!) when we visited MK - they are UNBELIEVABLE ~ I'm hooked! (there are 2 kinds - one cheese is a 'nacho' type of cheese and the other is a 'sweet'-ish cream cheese -I had THAT kind- YUMMY!!) :cloud9:

Any thoughts on the pineapple cake from the Brown Derby? It is on my list of must try when I go in November.

Well, I haven't read through ALL posts, and I am sure this has been said already, but the dinner buffet at Boma. The spicy seafood stew.. Mmmm.. Much like a poster above me, I am preg, and drooling on my keyboard just thinking about it. Dole whip of course. Oddly enough I am not a HUGE fan of the turkey legs, I wish they were a bit salty, then I think they would be better. Mickey Waffles. My favorite breakfast was the character breakfast at the beach club. It was the BEST breakfast buffet I had when I was there. Mmmm, food. LOL

Jiko Fillet and macaroni
Yachtsman Chateau Briand
Cottagge Pie at Rose & Crown (after Karl pours me a car bomb and a Stella)
Chicken Parm @ Alfredo's
Steak & Scallops @ Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki
Kronenbourg, Vouvray, Casa, Margerita, Kirin, Sam Adams, Peroni, Rosa Regata, Gewürztraminer, Lowenbrau, Tsingtao, Yanjing , Ringnes (rip), Fiesta Martini, XXX. :thumbsup2

Umm, I think that's grapefruit cake. I only mention it because we had a real laugh recently when DH thought I'd made pineapple cake, but it was some other flavor, but still yellow. He bit into it and made a face, "Yech! This is the worst pineapple cake. Where did you get the recipe?" Once I told him what flavor it really was, he bit into it again and said, "Oh, now it tastes pretty good, as long as I don't think it's something it isn't."

I *love* the trio of MK fruity swirl treats: Dole whip, Citrus Swirl, and Strawberry Swirl :sunny:

We also must have a few Turkey legs. In July we found that we like the ones from MK and AK. The MGM turkey legs weren't as good :bitelip:

We like the Schoolbread, Mickey brownies from the candy shop in MGM, coconut/chocolate patties, figaro fries, Cloumbia Harbor House hummus sandwich, etc....

I could go on and on and on and on...
