"Must Eats" at WDW

DD votes for the pizza at Tony's.

DH is all over the steak kabobs at Le Cellier (I loved the mushroom risotto steak dish there - best I've had, and we both loved the pretzel bread).

My favorite is the Salmon dish at CRT for lunch - it was awesome!!!

The citrus swirl- ice cream with frozen orange juice concetrate. This can only be found here(next to Tiki Birds). I am also partial to the Sangria at Mama Melrose.Hey-it's all good.

Bar B Que at the Whispering Canyon and breakfast with Stitch at O'hana's are both a must each trip. Popcorn for the fireworks. popcorn:: :stitch:

My husband's favorite is the fries at Casey's on main street, and the chicken at Columbia House. My favorite was the pork at Brown Derby (MGM) my daughter's Meghan's favorite is the frozen lemonade (hard to find sometimes) and my daughter Katie's favorite is anything at Beachs and Cream at the Beach Club resort.
We go in just 15 days and counting!!!

here are my yummy can't wait to eats...

1. mickey waffles!
2. cotton candy
3. soft pretzel in Germany
4. barbeque chicken salad at Flame Tree BBQ

ok, I'm officially hungry now... who started this thread....

The citrus swirls are my favorite at the MK. for some reason I'm just not crazy about the Dole whips.
At the studios, I like the chocolate walnut fudge at the villians store.
At EPCOT, I like the Kaki Gori's.
Animal kingdom, I'll take a Mickey ice cream bar. :)

Tonga Toast, Figaro Fries, Dole Whip, Fried Chicken From the Prime Time, Beignets, and a Quadruple bypass when I get home!

what is Tonga toast????I want a dole whip,Turkey leg or 2,mashed potatoes from CM,gonna try the beignets since staying at POR,oh no I can't think :confused3 I am so confused just figguring all the free food I am gonna eat it's sickning that I can't think straight about the other must haves popcorn::

Tonga Toast is a "banana infused" piece of thick sourdough bread, rolled in a cinnamon sugar and fried. It is my favorite breakfast in the entire world - Disney & the actual "world", as in, our planet, too. It is served for breakfast in the Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

My favorite lunch is the BBQ pulled pork in the Kona Cafe.

Dinner is always best in the World Showcase - LeCellier, L' Originale Alfredo Di Roma or Chefs de France.

But what is the MK French Toast Loaf mentioned in the OP's 1st post?

rice krispy treats!!! for some reason they just taste so much better at WDW ;)

Okay well very smart of you to have the Dole Whip Float on your list, because it's absolutely very scrumptious! On my last trip I had about 3 or 4! :rotfl: But anyways I think turkey legs are a must! They're just so...MMmmmMM! Well anyways have fun eating your way through WDW!

On my last trip I found the Thai Noodle Bowl from the Brown Derby at MGM. It's like a hearty soup. Here is the description:

Thai Noodle Bowl - with coconut-crusted tofu, edamame, snap peas, bok choy and shiitake mushrooms in a red curry broth $14.79

If that description sounds interesting to you...You may want to give it a go. I really enjoyed it and definately want to have it again.

Have a great trip.

OMG, we love the Thai Noodle Bowl. :thumbsup2

But yeah, I want to know what a "French Toast Loaf at MK" is too. :confused3

I thought the shawarma was just OK. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. We get better shawarma at home. (and it doesn't come with pita bread, it's just about the chicken meat)

One of our must haves is the cheese plate at California Grill. :cool1:

He has named the top of my must eat list... Beignets!!!!.. Are they as good at the counter service spot as they were when the table service restaurant had them?...
I also must have an Elephant Ear in France...
I have to try the mini doughnuts at either water park...
My must eat meal location for this trip - Crystal Palace breakfast...

I have to agree that the TURKEY leg is a must have a MAGIC KINGDOM its at the restaurant near BIG THUNDER RAILROAD... its the ultimate..
REENIE

AK...Flame Tree BBQ. Im from NC, BBQ capital of the world. FT holds its own against any BBQ where Im from.

Hmmm, sounds like a challenge to me! Especially since I am from Wilson, home of Bill's and Parkers, the two best BBQ places in the world! There are some good places around Raleigh and in Johnston Co, but there is no place like home!!

The last time I was there, the Ice Cream vendors walking around MK sold these Strawberry Bars (popsicle type) and they had a layer of white chocolate all over it. I absolutely must have one of these if they still have them. I have dreamed about having one for 10 years.
