Its my families first time at disney. I have 2 daughters(12 and 15). Just wanted to know things that we should definatley do! Maybe things that your family MUST DO while at disney! Were going for the fourth of july so its probably going to be hot and crowded=(!

Not sure how many parks you guys are hitting, but for my boys 23, 22, and 10, this what their favs are:

MK-Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Buzz Lightyear
AK- Dinosaur, Kali and Primevil (sp?) Whirl, I'm sure EE will be added next trip
MGM-Star Tours, ToT, RnR
Epcot-MS, TT and Soarin

What time of the year will you be there? During any holidays? Warm enough to really enjoy water park? Knowing this will help us give more suggestions.

But here's a start:

Disney Quest, located in DTD, is a huge arcade!! Teens love it (and some parents too!). One admission price and you can play any/all games as much as you like. They have some virtual reality type things as well.

If the girls love shopping....Downtown Disney is a good place for that.

If this is your first time at WDW my best advise would be: Take things slowly. Trying to cram everything there is to do at each of the parks in one trip will make for a exhausting trip.

That being said, research, research, research. Websites, books, anything you can find. Surprisingly some of the things my kids (17 +14) love doing the most are not what you'd think they'd be. Tomorrowland Transit Authority. They would ride that for an hour if we'd let them. The Monorail. The Great Movie Ride. Don't get me wrong, they like RNRC, SM etc, but don't over look some of the rides that are a little longer. They let you get a break while still enjoying an attraction.

My family's must-do list:

MGM:
- Rockin' Roller Coaster
- Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
- Playhouse Disney (our kids are younger than yours: 3, 6, 9)
- Muppet 3-d Movie

MK:
- Mickey's Philharmagic
- Splash Mountain
- Carousel of Progress (we LOVE this stupid thing!!)
- Space Mountain
- Eat with the Princesses at the Castle
- Dole Whip!

Epcot:
- Our favorite is the Land: Living with the Land boat ride, Lion King conservation movie, greenhouse tour, Soarin', Garden Grill
- Sit and watch the dancing fountain

AK:
- DH/DS addicted to Flame Tree Barbecue
- It's Tough to Be a Bug
- Kilimanjaro Safari
- Festival of the Lion King

Mostly we just love BEING at Disney. We try to take our time as much as possible, and avoid the forced march. We make a point to sit sometimes and watch the world go by, and we laugh a lot. Have a wonderful vacation!
