Must do's in December

Mickeys very merry christmas party

visit all the disney hotels to see their grand xmas deccies

Candlelight processional in Epcot

a real turkey dinner at liberty tree tavern

Macy's parade at Universal
Snow is Falling in Celebration
Being outside Rose and Crown Epcot New Years Eve at 7pm.

MVMCP was really great but very busy luckily we hadn't planned on riding any of the rides as we had done them beforehand so we just caught most of the shows and as we walked up Main Street to get a spot for the parade it began to snow! sitting on Main Street with snow falling around us was really magical.

Something definitately not to be missed is the Osborn lights at MGM, again snow falls and the lights dance to music, it's lovely (but go later in the evening towards park closing time you'll find it a lot less busy).

Thanks for all the ideas guys, I've written them all down. Is the Liberty Tree Tavern in MK?

Any more?

Cheers,
Kxx

Hi all

Do these must do's count for the first 2 weeks in december which is when we are there:goodvibes

Obi Wan, please tell me more about Gaylord Palms, i have seen little bits about it, but would love some more info

I'd also recommend checking out as many WDW resorts as possible - they all look lovely dressed up for the holidays. Gaylord Palms is worth a visit at any time of year. I think I'm right in saying you have to pay for entry to ICE. ??

Camp Minnie Mickey at Animal Kingdom is often overlooked. Each of the main characters has a themed Christmas Tree.

Another vote for the Osbourne Lights and MVMCP :)

They do the taping of the Christmas Parade in the first week of December I think, I have heard this makes the MK extra busy that day....

This is a great time of year to visit WDW. MVMCP is great and also check out the christmas decorations at the resorts. There is a real gingerbread house at the GF! Osbourne lights are not to be missed!

You will find lots of sales at the malls!

Thanks everyone - these are great :thumbsup2

We are going to first two weeks in December as well

It sounds like a wonderful time to visit - I can't wait!!:santa:

We're there from 8th Dec for 3 weeks. Can't wait to see the Osbourne lights as last time we went they weren't up due to them building the Stunt car show. by the looks of all the posts, there was quite a bit we missed out on too. Roll on December!!

I love Christmas in Florida!:santa:
See the different 'santa's' in the EPCOT world showcase.
Sit on Santa's knee! (Celebration, DTD)
Have a sleigh ride around Wilderness Lodge/campsite
Visit the Grinch in IOA (if you're going to US)

I also second Osborne family lights, MVMCP and the resort dec's (esp GF!)
