Must-do Things At World Showcase...

Threads like this used to mention Norway quite a bit. Not any longer. :(

Nowadays I would say Kringla Café in Norway and the bakery in France. I also like wandering around in Morocco and shopping in China and Japan. The interior part of Mexico is nice to see too.

Must do things for me are Off Kilter and Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps... Oh wait, they have been removed or replaced.

When in Epcot I must do Illuminations which I enjoy even more than Wishes at the MK, Mitsukoshi in Japan is always a must stop and they never fail to get a few $$$$$ out of my wallet and a stop at L’Artisan des Glaces in France for a scoop of freshly made ice cream.

Foodwise, I enjoy the Kaki Gori in Japan and Croque Glace at L'Artisan des Glaces in France. To step away from the crowds for a while, I like to take a quick break near the koi pond in Japan.

i love the orange slushie in that stand infront of france (alcohol slushie lol), school bread in germany, the shop in japan, and voices of liberty

1 thing that wasn't mentioned, and you don't necessarily need to have kids is, The Perry adventures.....* Not in every country but I believe most of them.

As others stated previously, there is sooo much to do & see in WS, & it's really hard to cram this into such a short time...We usually visit Epcot at least 2 1/2 days on our trips. Sometimes more..Especially during F&W... But W.S Fav's include The American Adventure, British Revolution , The Players* ( performing King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table ) Lots of fun.

We are going to do beer around the world. Wish me luck.

Maelstrom
Last ride we got stuck on for 30 mins, best backstage walk out.

I agree with most of the suggestions. I also need to stop at the garden in Canada. It is one of my favorite places in Epcot.

Try on sombreros in Mexico, Viking Coffee in Norway, the clothing shop in Canada, Pick a Pearl in Japan, eat a crepe in France and try on perfume, a beer in UK and try to catch a concert there too!

I finally caught Impressions de France this year and loved it; definitely will do this again next year! I also like Gran Fiesta Tour and American Adventure, although I didn't get to either of them this year.

Food-wise, I always enjoy lamb shawarma from Morocco, fish & chips from the UK, bakery treats from France and Norway, caramel from Germany and Kaki Gori from Japan.

Oh, and how could I forget my favorite must-do TS meal! Pizza at Via Napoli!

Some of my favorites:
Grand Marnier Orange Slush in France
fresh made caramel popcorn in Germany
drummers in Japan
Japanese curry at Katsura Grill
Mitsukoshi store in Japan
listen to the bank at UK
Dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel during Illuminations

There are often different characters out and about in less obvious occasions around the countries. When my daughter was 4 we hit all the areas with different characters and had a blast! Mulan, Marie, beast, and Aladdin and Jasmine were our favs!

Mitsukoshi store in Japan. I love the Japanese aesthetic, which is either really funky-pop-colorful, or elegant and reserved in the choice of merchandise. Then we eat at Tokyo Dining. I also adore the Mexican Pavilion, the way it's always nighttime in there. Nice to be in that dim coolness on a hot day when you've had a hard slog around World Showcase.

Mitsukoshi is my absolute favorite!! Take the time to cover the whole store. It is large and there is so much. Almost everything is from Japan. Almost. Look at the labels and fine print. A few things are not from Japan.

Morocco has the most amazing streets and shops. It is worthwhile wandering in every one. And the restaurant there is fantastic in both food and setting.

The best thing to do in World Showcase is to find cast members from the Countries and strike up a conversation with them. Ask them about home, ask them about their experience here, welcome them, ask them the best things to see should you visit their home. We have met some wonderful people and it is these many folks from the country that give each pavilion its flavor.

Enjoying the "nighttime" streets of Mexico and Mariachi Cobre. Peach tea and acrobats in China. Kids love the Coke icees and the carver in Africa. Caramel corn!!!! Shopping in Morrocco--jewelry is amazingly affordable. DD must try on a kimono, then we get funny Japanese snacks and watch the drummers. Those are really our faves :)
