In that case, I don't think that the Garden Grill is particularly great and frankly, Akershus is my least favorite of all. As for Teppanyaki, cross contamination can happen anywhere. The grills are cleaned between groups and I'm sure they have a procedure to separate any shellfish if you let them know in advance of her allergies (and given her reaction, you should tell EVERY restaurant in advance). That being said, there is no reason why you should be on pins and needles over dinner with an epi pen at the ready if you don't need to be.Hahaha...you are all so funnyThanks for all of the opinions. So far, it's looking like Rainforest is first to cut with 12 votes. This one is tough because we don't have one nearby. I am not even sure where the closest one is. I live in NE PA. Second place is 1900 Park Fare with 6 votes. The problem with both of these is something called.....a memory lol.
When we went to RCafe, we were waiting in the line to be seated at our table. My DD (now 15) leaned against the velvet rope and went right down on her butt. Plus she got her picture taken on the giraffe stool - she loves giraffes. As far as 1900 Park Fare, we had a really good Wicked Step Mother when we went. She and the Wicked Step Sisters were a hoot.
Uggghh~~I am never gonna weed these out!!!
Our whole family LOVES character experiences, even my husband and I.
I am though strongly considering taking out Teppen Edo. It it is one of our favorites and even though we do have one here at home, it is very expensive so we don't often take the whole family and go. But, the last time my DD went (the same 15 year old), she tasted someone's lobster and went into full aniphalactic shock. She had never tasted it before and has no other allergies. Kind of makes me scared to take the risk and take her back to a place like that with the possibility of cross contamination.
So, I change my votes to Teppanyaki and Garden Grill.
