Starting to write our packing list. It's my husband, 4yr old son and I going in Sept. What is something you think one might think about or forget to bring? Thanks

I bring big office clip things to close the curtains better - Some curtains don't stay closed well and those big clips work great for that.

I also bring a small thing duct tape - works pretty well to fix a broken suitcase handle in a pinch.

Laundry basket to hold all of the dirty clothes. However, we drive down. Ziplocs for so many things-they are nice to put a cell phone in if it starts raining hard (we've been at WDW for 3 tropical storms, lol).

Second the ziploc bags. For my daughter, I pack each days outfit (plus one extra just in case) in a separate large ziploc bag. Makes getting dressed in the morning so much easier. Then those same bags easily separate out the dirty clothes for the return home.

A small plastic tray for each person's daily gear - magic bands, jewelry, hair bands, barrettes, sunglasses, pressed pennies, stickers, trinkets, anything that is theirs goes in the tray.... I have the same two nesting trays (4"x6") for five trips now. Saves my sanity from constantly picking up and sorting. Kiddos do that ! And we get out the door on time! Make sure that you reload your park bag at night. You will most likely forget something in the rush of the next morning.

Disinfectant wipes! When we get to the resort, I clean the door knobs, handles, remote, etc! You may also want a power strip depending on how many electronics you have to charge. I also bring extra plastic hangers and a mesh laundry bag for dirty laundry.

I'm echoing others when I say ziploc bags. I use them for everything! I also always travel with hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and chap stick. A small travel-size sewing kit might come in handy too.

I second the idea of putting kids clothes in ziploc bags. It works great. I found that tip on here years ago and did it with my two boys for years and it worked great. Just toss a bag on the bed and say get dressed. I didn't have to think what to dress them in for the day. Ziploc bags are a must for us even today for all kinds of things.

Band-Aid make these blister strips. Bring two packs. Seriously.
