Must all my favorite shows air on Wednesday nights?

The networks are killing me. When did Wednesday nights become the new Thursday night lineup? My DVR will only record two shows at once and you have to watch one of those channels, you can't switch without canceling one of the recordings. I guess I'm gonna have to pull out the VCR tomorrow night and hook it up to a spare television. Watching the shows live is not an option. I don't sit down to watch tv until after DD is in bed. 90% of everything I watch is recorded. I was doing ok until CBS decided to move the Amazing Race to Wednesday and now my absolutely favorite show comes back on tomorrow night and it's a 2-hour event. It's Alias on ABC. I named my little girl after the main character's name. That's how much I love the show. Here's my lineup:

Anybody else have a night of television from hell because everything you like to watch is on at the same time?

Thursdays: Survivor, The OC (I'm embarassed to say I like that one), and Beauty & the Geek (Season two just ended. Also embarassed about that one).

Could you record 2 shows on the DVR and watch the third show on another tv?

Our busy night is Wednesday too - with Amazing Race & Lost. We usually DVR Amazing Race and watch Lost. Then we watch AR after Survivor on Thursday. So, I have to try real hard to stay away from anything AR related all day Thursday!!

I did recently give up on American Idol. 2 nights of it was killing me. Plus now that baseball started, the Sox come first

DH & I actually decided this year we weren't going to start watching any new shows! We're probably missing out on something good but it's too stressful to figure out what to watch when!
