So, what are the DISers listening to this afternoon?
I am listening to Angel by Sarah Mclachlan. :cool1: :cool1:

Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it OK
There's always some reason to feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction or a beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
Let me be empty and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

In the arms of the Angel far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees

In the arms of the Angel far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
In the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here

You're in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort her

Right now nothing, but I was just listening to a Super 70's weekend on our local oldies station. I was lovin' it. :flower:

I love that song.

I am going through my MP3 collection. Now I have Peace by Creed on.

Ave Maria - song by Celine Dion
(Franz Shubert)

Ave Maria
Gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Ave, ave dominus
Dominus tecum
Benedicta tu in mulieribus
Et benedictus
Et benedictus fructus ventris
Ventris tuae, Jesus.
Ave Maria

Ave Maria
Mater Dei
Ora pro nobis peccatoribus
Ora pro nobis
Ora, ora pro nobis peccatoribus
Nunc et in hora mortis
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Ave Maria

I'm listening to the Black Eyed Peas.

Bruce Springsteen's "The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle". I have it on repeat/replay. It's one of the CD's that I can play over and over and over again and never get tired of.

Going throug a mix of...

"Be My Escape" - Reliant K
"Blood Red Summer" & "Favor House Atlantic" - Coheed and Cambria
And a ton of stuff by Seether!

~~~
I’ve given up, I’m giving up slowly, I’m blending in so
You won’t even know me apart from this whole world that shares my fate
This one last call that You mentioned is my one last shot at redemption
because I know to live you must give your life away
And I’ve been housing all this doubt and insecurity and
I’ve been locked inside that house all the while You hold the key
And I’ve been dying to get out and that might be the death of me
And even though, there’s no way in knowing where to go, promise I’m going because
I gotta get outta here
I’m stuck inside this rut that I fell into by mistake
I gotta get outta here
And I’m begging You, I’m begging You, I’m begging You to be my escape.
I am a hostage to my own humanity
Self detained and forced to live in this mess I’ve made
And all I’m asking is for You to do what You can with me
But I can’t ask You to give what You already gave
Oh, oh, no, I'm about to lose my nachos! :crazy2:
I am often singled out at school for my hatred of anything (except for Good Riddance) Green Day!
I am going to start listening to Christmas music soon. :teeth: :banana:
This is such a gorgeous a song. It was the song playing on my car radio when I came out of my vet's office after having to put our one dogs to sleep--for the life of me, I couldn't stop crying. Everytime it comes on now, I have to change the station because over five years later, I still cry like a baby. :blush:
'Song to the Siren' as performed by This Mortal Coil
Beautiful song :love:
Right now I'm listening to Off Kilter, the CD that I picked up from our trip this past week. We had a horrible trip, with all of us sick, but the one saving grace was we had one good day in Epcot where we got to see this amazing band perform! :banana:
