Music or Movies?

We like AS Movies for the (in our experience) efficient bus service. We have never stayed at Music, but the nightly rate there is better. Any difference between the two resorts in terms of quality?

We've stayed at both and enjoyed them. I thought both were nice- not too different. I would stay at the one with a better rate or the theme that you like better. We also stayed at Sports and thought it was nice too.

I've stayed at all the All-Stars and as PP said they are pretty similar.

I like Music because it is smaller than the other All-Stars so the park close bus line always went quicker.

Movies on the other hand has awesome Disney theming and the best food court of the three in my opinion.

It really is a tough choice!

ASMusic is set up more straight back than Movies (or Sports) which has buildings to the side of the main building so the most remote room at Music can be a longer walk than the most remote room at Movies.

ASMusic is my "home resort." I do not remember my stay at ASMovies, but I will comment that if you do not purchase a preferred room at ASMusic, you will walk a lot longer. ASSports and ASMovies have shorter walks from regular rooms.

We stayed at Movies in Nov and Music the beginning of this month. The rooms were the same. But I think Movies has started a renovation.

We loved our room location at Movies. We chose The Mighty Ducks section and used the Music buses by cutting through the parking lot.

The Music walk at the end of the night felt brutal in comparison. But we survived.

We had standard rooms at both places.

I just booked our stay for All Star Music because it was cheaper, but now I'm considering switching to Movies. I was hoping for a renovated room at Movies, but I'm not sure that will happen in a Standard Room by the end of October.

We've stayed at both, and I'd give Music the slight edge, because it has a slightly more interesting main pool. I love them both, though, for sentimental reasons. They're the first two resorts we stayed at with DD.

I think sports, music, and movies are all great. Music is in the middle so easier to access all 6 pools and the food courts of the 3 resorts. We had movies booked for June but switched to Music for the reason of rooms under construction at movies thru the summer and I didn't want to stay at a construction site.

I just switched ours to movies. I like the fact that we can stay in mighty ducks and have the chance at a king bed. We also will most likely walk to music’s bus stop from our room.
