Music help!!!!

Okay, help me out with the father/daughter dance. My father passed away when I was 12, but my godfather is walking me down the aisle. For this dance I will be dancing with him and I want the song to be appropriate. I was going to pick the traditional Daddy's Little Girl, then I was thinking of There You'll Be by Faith Hill. Are there any other songs that I could possibly use?

Also, my fiance and FMIL are having a hard time picking a song to dance to. Can anyone throw out any songs they used at their wedding. The countdown is ticking and the dj is wanting answers.

We did a combination father/daughter & mother/son dance at the same time. We used Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion, which I think would work for your situation.

My father passed away when I was a teenager too. I'll be having my mother walk me down the aisle. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to do a father/daughter type of dance with. But your dance with your godfather sounds very sweet, and just about any song you choose I'm sure will work out just fine.
