Music editing---PLEASE HELP!!!

I know I saw a post here a few days ago but I cannot find it!! What free software is available to cut music? I am trying to put together a program of 1:40 from 3 different tracks and I need to be able to cut portions. I know I saw something here and I couldn't find it on the search. HELP!!!!

My son just downloaded something the other day for this. I don't know what it's called - it's on our other computer.

Google search yielded several results - give it a try.

I downloaded FlexiMusic Wave Editor, for editing Mp3 and music. It is not a freeware but available for free trial.

Audacity - It's completely free, pretty well-known, would definitely allow you to do what you're after.
